I paid $18 (after tip) for a dry, skinny piece of salmon… especially after deciding against going to a chain (Cava) to support local… I’m baffled. I could have gotten a meal with a drink and a side for this money at a different restaurant. I definitely won’t be coming back.

Bought a cinnamon roll at a cafeteria they cater to. Not great. Stale edges before the best by date and very bland tasting. Good ingredient list but doesn’t meet what cinnamon rolls are supposed to be about.

Breadworks has great soups and a great variety of breads and pastries. However, they also have tremendous turnover in personnel. Yesterday, Sat Dec30 around 12:30pm I observed them handling pretzel breads with their bare hands putting them from a tray onto the display shelves for purchase. When telling this the cashier, she became very defensive and beligerent, eventually accusing me to yell at her when I simply alerted her to the fact that the older gentleman used his bare hands to re-stock the shelves with wares that customers buy. Usually, even the cashiers always use paper or gloves to get breads and pastries that are purchased. Needless to say, I won't go back there for quite a while. Maybe forever. I'd also hope that BoCo Health will keep a closer look at them how they hygienically and safely handle their products. Extremely disapppointing, incl. the customer service !!

This business sells premade sandwiches at Noilder Comunity Hospital. 8$ for a stale bread, one slice of ham and a half slice of cheese. Worst sandwich ever. Worse than a gas station sandwich.

Bought two loaves at Natural Grocers. This is terrible bread. The flavor is not bad. Somehow it crumbles and is gooey at the same time. Not even close. The texture, especially the crumble/fall apart factor, is the worst I've ever encountered.

Absolutely worst staff, my elderly parents came for the dessert because it's usually the best in town but they were ignored and blatantly discriminated against while people around just backed the staffs clear racism. This is truly devastating especially for Boulder, we have never been so disrespected.

This place is great! It's all homemade and super fresh. They also have food ready so it's quick! Great spit

We like to stop by here when we’re in boulder for a good chocolate croissant or bear claw

We've been buying bread and other things there for many years but quality has really gone down and staff has become rude and unhelpful. Will not be going there anymore I'm afraid.

bought a baguette and it was much closer to an American Wonderbread version of a baguette than an actual French baguette.

I like the people and the baked goods. However, they have raised prices to the point of me asking WTF? With tax and tip $20 for two croissants and coffees. Wow. Not reasonable. So not likely I'll return.

Got an Almond Croissant and it was dry and bready instead of crisp and flaky. I don't know if it was baked today but even if it was I don't think it would have been much better. Too many good bakeries out there that I probably won't be back.

This place!I want to love itBut it doesn’t let meTheIr spinach pie is great…but when you try to order anything else you get thwarted by nobody managing the consistency of the food they put outAfter five years of taking a break from the annoying lack of care, I’ve been here six weeks in a row… To meet a friend who lives in North Boulder. This is our halfway point this morning. I thought I would break out a spinach pie so I went to the soup counter sometimes the soups are yummy… But today the three flavors did not taste great to me.So I moved to the hot food line… I got the spinach pie… And the side kale salad.Just so you know I always order salad with 130 amount of dressing. I don’t like dressing. But when I started choking on the dry cow. I went back to the counter and asked if there was any dressing. She said she have no dressing.I asked if there was dressing already in the shower she said there was I suggested it wasn’t enough. She said they didn’t have any left. Is anybody in the kitchen tasting this food? If they have a salad with no discernible dressing… Should they put it out anyway? Obviously they should and they do.I augmented this meal with a pop-over from the bakery counter. The pop-over was so over cooked that the crust peeled off of the rest of the pop over.Again, is there any quality control happening in the kitchen?I am done here… I can’t come back and spend $20 on in her edible food
