Best bar food you’ll ever have. Chicken was tender, French fries fresh and crispy, and the drinks on point. Service was exceptional! Highly recommend on the Hill!

This is my favorite fried chicken in Boulder hands down. All the other chicken in town is so dry, but not this place. But the restaurant is unexpectedly closed often. And they don’t update the DoorDash with their opening/availability and they don’t answer the phones. If they could address these issues, I think they would be super successful. I would definitely suggest calling ahead to see if they’re open before dining in or ordering online. When I ordered online through DoorDash, it let me place the order even though they were closed. I would eat here often if they were reliable and open during their posted hours.

Good tender chicken, tasty fries and toast, plus the bbq sauce is great. My only complaint is what’s up with the coleslaw portion? That’s approximately two spoonfuls with the entire meal, I was given more bbq sauce than slaw… not even exaggerating. Maybe they ran out of what they typically put it in?? Still tasty though and the staff was friendly :)

I first visited Chicken on the Hill at the previous location in September of 2020. With the construction on the hill, I thought the restaurant was gone. While visiting a neighboring restaurant, I noticed the sign for Chicken on the Hill on a different building. I knew I had to have it again after all these years! I rounded up 2 coworkers who had never tried it and we all got in my car Sunday to have some chicken. We arrived but the business was locked, with no explanation as to why, even though the hours on the internet said they’d be open. I was in Boulder again on Wednesday but the restaurant’s hours say it is closed Wednesday. I tried calling multiple times today, Thursday, and got no answer. I really hope this awesome chicken spot is not out of business ?

Just moved to Denver and found this to easily be the best hot chicken around. Checked the website and Google to make sure they are open on Sundays and drove there just to get some nashville hot tenders. We park and they are closed with no notice on why, really awful way to start the day. Hopefully it wasn't due to anything serious ?

Chicken on the Hill has a very chill atmosphere during the daytime- great place for a quick lunch- tasty sandwiches. It lights up Thursday night through the weekend and is packed with college students. Great music.

Food was alright. Order the Nashville Hot sandwich and the spicy level Nashville, which is second hottest, but there wasn’t any heat to it. I wonder if maybe they got my order mixed up or didn’t hear.

My husband and I ate in their back patio, I ordered a wrap and he ordered a nashville chicken sandwich. 10/10 food, it was an amazing lunch with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely will be back!

Food here was exactly what I was looking for, a quick nice chicken sanwhich. Very delicious. Everything else was subpar. For such a nice looking spot the atmosphere in here is dark and unwelcoming for lunch. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Lastly this place needs more than one person working at a time. Between dine in and take out orders the only staff member seemed to have 0 time to clean any corner of this place.
