I’m not sure why the reviews are so good of this place. We were sorely disappointed. The vegetable tacos should be called 10 bean taco. It was 90% ice cold iceberg lettuce and I literally counted the beans. Another person in our party ordered food that he described as tasting like it came out of a blender. It was hard to distinguish one item from the next on the plate. The dip for the chips was flavorless tomato water. In addition, it’s a very loud space. The service was very good and the wait staff very pleasant. This is about the only thing that it has going for it.

We went in on Sat, 1/20/24. We had a party of 4, but the 2nd half of our party was running late, due to Boulder Canyon traffic, coming from Eldora. We were told we couldn't be seated in a booth with an incomplete party. But, we bought margaritas & were told we had to sit up front. Meanwhile they are sitting 2 people in booths, but couldn't sit us, even though we were still spending money. I get the turnover stuff, but come on, we were having drinks, not just sitting there. I understand the hostesses were doing what they were trained to do, but they also, sat a single guy down, while he was waiting on his party to show. Very unprofessional. Just my opinion.

Very well decorated restaurant. Very attentive staff and affordable prices. The flautas were perfect, the outside crunchy and the meat was so tender for both the beef and chicken. Be sure to try the Pina Colada Margarita! The absolutely best margarita I’ve ever

Dinner was delicious! We had delicious fajitas, Mexican hamburger and I had the Efrains burrito. The chef made a great mix of ingredients that was delicious! Chicken, beef, rice, refried beans etc all Smithers on great green chili! Leftovers for all to look forward to. ? Trusted the chef and it was great!

With the locale and decor, the vibe is a bit different from Efrain's in Lafayette -- but the food and service are still great (and the Pork Chili Verde is plenty spicy). Also, this Efrain's shares a parking lot with McGuckin's, which is always worth a visit.
I’m honestly blown away by Efrain’s and their staff. The service was very prompt and we had gotten our food in 15 minutes from the time we sat down. Chicken tacos and flautas are delicious and the perfect portion size. I would absolutely come back again! Thanks again to Efrain’s staff for working hard, making us feel welcome and for the delicious food! Can’t wait to come back!
