This place is not closed, but has moved to 4920 Pearl East Cir, 80301. We got food there tonight and enjoyed our meal immensely, particularly the pork belly with rice and Chinese pancake with egg. The egg tart is also amazing. The new location is not obviously signed, so you'll need to look closely to get your fix!

Based on all the great reviews this place has had I was hoping for a bit more. It was OK, but not worthy of the five star reviews that I read over the last month or two in my opinion. I got the pork dumplings and chicken bun and they were OK but seemed like they could've been fresher, and the dough could've been a bit lighter. Also, there is no in-restaurant dining so I would recommend using GrubHub or being aware that you won't be eating there when you get there.

Nancy is so wonderful and a master in her craft. Simply the best food, drinks, baked goods and more - made with love that you can feel. It's very lucky that Boulder is graced by such rare quality! The food is so fresh and delicate, abundant with flavor, excellent texture and preparation. The milk tea is the best I have ever had... and I have tried many all over the country. This instantly has become my favorite place. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, saving the best for last. Thank you Nancy!

Be sure to call first IF you must go. I was told to come back in 10-15 minutes after ordering, did so, and came in time for her to START making my order 5 minutes later when I started staring at her (several people who came after me got their food first). Then when I got home to eat, my order had several main ingredients that weren't on the menu, including pork and I'm vegetarian so after wasting 40 minutes of my life for takeout, I got home and couldn't eat it anyways. I did also get vegetable steamed bun and that was pretty mediocre. So I do not recommend.

Very poor service. The lady didn’t turn on the AC, it was super hot. That’s fine. She told me to wait for 5 minutes. I waited outside and came in after 5 minutes. Then she said didn’t I tell you to come in after 5 minutes? I was so surprised she treated me in such a rude way.

Been here a few times now. Favorites are: - sesame balls (one of the bests I've had) - taro pastry - beef noodle soup - cold noodle with shredded chicken - homemade milk tea

Their sweet soybean milk was heavenly, and their dim sum had me satisfied + wanting more!! I think this place is so underrated, but I think it's because the shop always looks closed :( I would definitely recommend to everyone.

The owner was very nice and took time to answer all our questions. The food was great. You should definitely try those soft fruit filled cakes which was phenomenally soft and not too sugary. She also made a Boba tea with very less sugar for me which was just to my liking. I recommend this place.

There aren't many photos on Formosa's Yelp page but I promise, it is fire! Nancy knows what's up when it comes to cooking bomb food. Be sure to call to ask about nightly specials as they aren't listed on her website or Grubhub. She has years or perfecting her recipes and it shows. Everything is made fresh, with love, and umami.

Delicious fresh food. You can tell everything is homemade and market fresh. Don't let the location deter you - make this a must when you're in Boulder! Chef really makes the food with love.

The milk tea and the taro milk shake are the best I had in town - they don't taste artificial at all, the tea and milk really blend in perfectly. Also strongly recommend the green tea taro roll, it's just fantastic :))) The entree braised pork and appetizer oyster pancake are very tasty as well, lots of fresh oysters
