Love Gemini! I have been here twice now and would absolutely return. Everything we have tried has been delicious. Especially recommend the croquetas, the baked goat cheese, and the mushrooms.

Creative tapas and a really fun atmosphere. You can dress up or dress down. The first time we visited, it was packed so our server brought us complimentary almonds and olives to make up for the wait. Definitely recommend!

Gemini was such an expensive disappointment. I love tapas, so I picked this restaurant for a rare date night with my husband. We left wishing we just grabbed a burger somewhere casual instead.First of all, this is not authentic tapas. The paella was a plate of some kind of black rice with a few pieces of seafood (4 clams, 3 shrimp, and 3 scallops, to be exact) placed on top. If you are looking for depth of flavor and love the crunchy bits in the paella pan, don't order this or you'll be as angry as I was.The patatas bravas and croquettes were fine. We should have stopped there. The mussels and anchovies were ok, but I would not order again. Everything was very oily, but not in a good way.I know we were there on a Saturday night, but the service had serious issues. We promptly arrived for our 7pm reservation and were seated immediately. At 7:20, our server finally took our drink order, when we also ordered the anchovies as a starter. By 7:30, we finally had our drinks in hand. At this point we attempted to continue to order the rest of our food, but our server refused to make eye contact, instead just dropping the drinks and leaving without a word. Finally after finishing the anchovies, our server came back to ask if we wanted anything else. But our drinks then sat empty at the end of the table for a good 10-15 minutes before she bothered to ask if we wanted another round, which we then waited another 10 minutes to arrive. No cocktails mind you - this was just beer and wine. Meanwhile she is refilling waters and cleaning tables all around us, but for some reason ignoring us. A party of 2 wasn't worth her time, I guess?$200 later, we left with many regrets. I will never be back. I will also never understand how people in Colorado continue to rate restaurants like these so highly.

Our server left after taking our app order for the night and never returned. We were not informed and didn’t find out until we asked. We then ordered entrees with our new waitresses, and the food still took incredibly long. We were the last people in the restaurant for a full 20 mins before the food came. They dropped the food off and did not apologize or make any reference to a delay. Great food but very poor service. Too bad.

Best authentic Spanish tapas in Colorado (especially since the Med closed) and excellent (fortified/stronger style) sangria. Great happy hour tapas menu. Octopus (not on happy hour menu) is great too.Dietary restrictions: Great dairy and gluten free options.

The service was fine, she was very nice. The drinks were ok but tasted more like juice than sangria. Would not recommend the food, it was pretty disappointing.

Drinks are good, but not authentic tapas. These are quick things thrown together with not much culinary skill, they taste good but not even close to their price. Based on reviews I was expecting a delicious meal however this was an average meal. The drinks however were delicious.

Amazing food, hidden gem of Boulder. If you live here you must come here at least once and try the food!

Very wonderful spot. I had the artichoke and the short ribs, both absolutely amazing! To finish I had the burnt cheese cake and a glass of dessert wine. The grapefruit complimented both the dense sweetness of the cheesecake and the burnt edges. The Fino really went well with it though I would have rather tried it with the chocolate. My bartender, Joe, was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with. Excellent food and service, can't wait to bring my friends back!

Have been here before and found it too expensive for the small portions and pours, and mediocre food quality. And yet we found ourselves here again for Valentine's Day. And it was horrific--very loud boisterous music for dinner (presumably to make sure the tables turned over quickly), a small unremarkable salad for $15, wait staff and hostess with defensive (or was it snobby) attitudes. Great location and pretty decor, but oh how I miss Riff's (the restaurant Gemini supplanted).
