This is a fancier restaurant located next to / in a hotel. The service was great. Our waitress was very nice, kind, and personable.I would say the main reason for the 3 was that the food was very overpriced. It was good, but not that good for the cost. The appetizers were the best part honestly. We got:- the rolls- the fried shrimp- the tater tots: maybe put the truffle on the sideFor dinner we got:- French onion soup—a hit- fish chips—quality- Caesar salad with chicken- Margherita pizza—would’ve liked for the cheese pieces to be a bit more crispy- wild mushroom pasta— liked it, but could’ve benefited from some veggies or something. We didn’t get dessert, but there seemed to be good options. The drinks were tasty: we got the mules and the coffee frozen martini—also some of the better options.Big picture: a good restaurant, but way overpriced. Hence, the lower rating.Vegetarian options: Good amount of vegetarian optionsParking: Many parking lots in the area that are free weekends and holidays

Met a friend here and had drinks and apps, while we caught up. The outside lounge area was perfect. (charcuterie & meatballs)

Haven’t been disappointed although price doesn’t always match food taste and quality. The Bloody Mary bar is amazing but overpriced! The croque madam was pretty wonderful!

First, it was CU fraternity & sorority parents weekend. Secondly the restaurant was full on a Saturday night, which should be expected. But that does not excuse waiting 30 minutes when seated to place a drinks order or 1.5hrs for the appetizers to make an appearance. It was nearly impossible to get anyone's attention to order a second round of drinks, and when the appetizer dishes were cleared, new silverware was not brought. Which made eating the main course challenging once it arrived. For those who got theirs. (One person out of our group of 6 didn't)But thats ok, as the food was hugely disappointing, lacking flavor or being hot in many cases. All in all a huge disappointment.

Went there for the 1st time during Denver restaurant week, and it was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared, but the best part was the service.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our Birthday Brunch due to injury. However, LILLY was extremely helpful and patient making our reservation. Thank you, Lilly. We look forward to coming for Brunch again soon. We hear it is wonderful.Meg B.

Our host said there was no table, in spite of the fact that we had a reservation. Our waiter was very slow, and we had to wait about a half hour to get ordered. I will not be back.

While staying at the St. Julian Hotel, we had 3 meals at Jill's. Each was excellent, with great service. We ordered the homemade corned beef hash, a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, a wood fired pizza, French Onions soup, Parker house rolls, and a wonderful chopped salad topped with Salmon. Each dish was exceptional! It is a very popular spot, with bustling night time crowds! I suggest reservations.

If you are looking for a memorable, upscale setting and wonderful dining experience for your visit to Boulder, Jill's is the place. Located at the St. Julien, hotel, the ambience swathes one in Rocky Mountain majesty. Before dinner, consider a cocktail and appetizer on the lovely shaded patio just across from the restaurant. It's more mellow than the more boisterous bar of the hotel - which also has a great vibe. (We visited in August, and they change the menu often, so some items may not be offered). For dinner at Jill's - we arrived at open, which showed a minor hiccup as they got their ovens up to operating temp and servers on the floor. However, the brief wait was more than rewarded with a crostini appetizer featuring asparagus and pepper on an aioli bed. For the main course, one of us had scallop sushi which was actually pan fried scallops with asparagus delivered on a bed of whipped mascarpone potato - the operative word here is "hedonistic"! My partner favored the fire-grilled shrimp on a polenta bed. Excellent taste there as well. Pair your entre with one of their excellent wine choices. That evening we went with a Malbec. Dessert, of course is a must. The indulgent choice for us was a black raspberry cheesecake. We are looking forward to our next Denver trip where a drive to Boulder and Jill's is clearly in the cards.

Someone give Evan a raise. Could not have asked for better service. Summer was great too. She was so attentive and quick to action.

A famous place with parking and what not.We got a nice section for a group. Hostess was good and a great collection of wine. Meats were done to perfection according to folks on my table. What I loved was the Brussels sprouts and the hummus plate. The latter had some character and some crunch.Pizza was a surprise (my east coast presumptuous behavior that you may not get good pizza anywhere else) and thin crust with toppings were delicious. Carrot cake was well made and garnished. My suggestion is if the restaurant could offer some kind of bread on the house with olive oil.Next thing, when we parked the car, no one was around when we looked around with no signs. But when we were driving out, two valets swooped up on us to tell us that car was about to be towed if we didn’t pay up parking. My question is why would nt we - they could easily find out it would be some customer. We paid and drove out.
