the owner was very chatty and once he brought out the check, we payed and didn’t leave a tip until he came back asking for a 24% tip or 4 dollar tip. very rude to ask for a tip. he also told us we had to be seated and we couldn’t look around.

Tried something new today. Bibimbap with bulgogi. Portion of meat was quite small but after everything was mixed together, it was a great dish. Flavor was excellent and each ingredient was cooked perfectly. While price is slightly steep for amount of food, I would recommend Korea House if you're looking for this type of food! Will be back 7.8/10!

As a Korean born and raised in Boulder, I am embarrassed at the service that this restaurant dishes out. The food is just okay, the portions are small but the psychological battering that one receives here even before placing the order is so unacceptable and it makes me think that the owner has a serious problem and that customers need to be forewarned. I have personally only experienced this kind of hostility a few times and from all Asian ethnic groups, but this location can usually be guaranteed to elicit a hostile act sometime during the dining experience. You are forewarned. For our family, the food doesn't warrant this kind of treatment so we are not going to patronize his restaurant again. I apologize if you ignore this warning and have an experience like so many other reviewers have had over many, many years now. I prefer to enjoy my dining out instead of worrying about what lies in wait.

Lovely find. A homely and cozy atmosphere, prompt and attentive service, and delicious food. I highly recommend ordering one of the “sets”, which include a choice of drink, appetizers, and at least one entree. The food came out in courses, with little to no waiting time in between. We felt taken care of and left very satisfied. Thank you Korea House!

Love this place for their authentic 육개장 soup. Genuine flavor and Ingredients. . The only thing I buy here since portions are small, I crave 육개장 often and it makes my heart warm to have it. The only comparable restaurant in Colorado with its authentic flavor is Mr. Kim’s in Aurora with huge portions, unfortunately very far away. The cost of living and working in boulder is so great that I’m not surprised the cost of food at this restaurant for its imported and fresh ingredients. Many other chain restaurants in boulder that are cheaper have lower quality flavor and food. I don’t buy here often but I’m appreciative of the flavor profile and how my belly feels full and happy after I eat a meal here even if the portion is small! Be aware the portion size and be prepared to spend money on the delicious flavor . There are many restaurants in boulder with authentic delicious meals like little Tibet that is delicious but pricey. Dont expect fast food prices for home made meals

I wanted to like this restaurant so bad. I have friends who absolutely love it. The only difference I can decipher is.. They happen to follow the owner's unspoken rules of not sharing plates. I've never had such an awkward experience with a server before. The food itself was wonderful. Yes it's expensive, but in my experience most Korean food is. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees to share. When the entrees arrived, he asked where to put the plates. We said we were sharing everything, as we typically do at Korean restaurants. Then he started ranting about how in America we aren't supposed to share plates. He said "Please don't share" with a strong tone. We were left confused and bewildered. My boyfriend was afraid to eat the delicious meat in front of us because he didn't want to offend or upset the owner. The food was tasty but we were left feeling confused and upset. We are the type of customers who are very patient with service. We are quiet and polite. And to have a restaurant owner tell us we were doing something wrong by sharing plates.. Very strange to us. I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. I'm kind of glad the other reviews let me know what I was getting into. No, the plates aren't too small, but they might be by American standards. Yes, the music was loud. Yes, the experience was uncomfortable overall.
