Like the other more recent reviews, can't believe how much slack this place has gotten. We went during happy hour and the cocktails were delicious and food was really good! The decor inside is very woodsy chic and inviting. Our service was great, huge outdoor space too! Definitely underrated spot just north of Boulder. Will be returning!

Nice place. We stopped in for breakfast and a little research on our laptop. We had plenty of room to spread out and accomplish what we hoped.Breakfast & service was great at a fair price. Kinda shocked the place wasn't packed. It's worth a try, I know we'll be back.

Normally this place is good, DO NOT GO HERE unless you have TONS of TIME. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. The alternate server claimed we arrived after 2 large tables. In fact we arrived after one large table. The other large table we knew everyone there and they arrived after we did. Our actual sever Lexie was great and I feel bad for her since nothing she could do about the rest of the staff. The alternate server had a terrible attitude.

Looking at all the reviews I have been reluctant to try this place..folks, it has been a tough time for all the restaurants the last two years. As a person who has worked in the food service industry for over 30 years, and a musician who plays at so many of their places..I have to say that this place is doing their best to get back in the game, and they are doing a great job! Went last Saturday and totally enjoyed the live entertainment, and the amazing rooftop patio. Took my wife back tonight and enjoyed a wonderful meal, great service and awesome views. Easy parking, way less stressful than downtown Longmont or Boulder on a Friday evening..their GM Frances was wonderful..please give them a try!!

Fantastic barbecued ribs. Some of the best I've ever had! Excellent smoky flavor. Love the sauce, too. It is a bit on the spicy side, but that's exactly how I like it. Great beer selection, with my fave Left Hand Milk Stout on tap. Nice that they are open late, as my wife and I often find ourselves stranded when we end up hungry for dinner. Cute location, as well. It's not fancy-schmancy, but if you love ribs, I highly recommend this place.

The food is mediocre at best. There is a shortage of flavor. It's like everything is under seasoned. And the service leaves something to be desired. It's not just the perpetual understaffing, it's also stuff like my waiter tried to show off and remember everything but brought my kid the wrong food. We didn't figure it out until the bill came (ah! That's why she didn't eat!) but at that point we just wanted to leave. I'm not going back.

Never been here I tried it today and I gotta say I absolutely love the atmosphere. The locals that go there are friendly as ever. The food is absolutely amazing! Mixed drinks were just perfectly balanced. Definitely considering this as my go to

The service was great and I enjoy the atmosphere. Last time I went there, Ivan was our server, if I remember correctly. He was so nice and helpful on his very first shift, I think.The food is just okay, honestly, but I feel like they can fix that with some menu adjustment. The eggs benedict were good, but the hollandaise was not great.

I took a client there for lunch and all four entrees were wrong. We also ordered wings for appetizers and they didn't come until we were done with lunch after asking where are they. Sandwiches were three slices of bread with little meat. The wings were fresh out of the Swansons bag, rubbery and not grilled. We were headed to Avery's but they are closed on Thursday until 3pm. Never going back.

I wanted to love it because I live really close but it really wasn't good. We were the only customers in the large restaurant. Our server was nice. We each ordered a cocktail and it took 20 minutes to get them to the table. My friend and I are both vegetarians so we asked if the poutine Demi glaze had meat in it. The server checked with the cook. The cook said it's vegetarian. So we ordered it. And I ate one fry and it tasted meaty, so asked the server to recheck, and there was indeed meat in the Demi glaze, so he asked if we wanted anything else. We ordered the pretzels with queso and the mac & cheese balls. The queso was very bad, it was not flavorful and it was like, congealed? And not warm at all. The mac and cheese balls have no flavor and they came with a marinara sauce that seemed like it was watered down. We were there for 1.5 hrs for some fried food. I won't be visiting again, unfortunately.

Mike was our server and he was awesome! Very attentive and he actually cared about our experience! Living on the Western Slope, we don’t have a lot of great experiences when we eat out. Especially in our little town. Most of the time dining at restaurants connected to or within the vicinity of hotels the food and service is marginal at best. I would recommend everyone give it try. The wings were outstanding, the filet was tender and flavorful. I’m no food connoisseur, but was happy we found it! My girls say they would give it ten stars!

Everything is five stars. Excellent food, excellent service, very comfortable atmosphere.Highly recommend bavarian pretzels, barbecue pork sandwich, brisket burrito and green chili. Other items on the menu are very appealing, but these mentioned are so amazing it’s going to be hard for us to switch. Thank you for the exceptional service, Ashley and Heidi. Glad Motherlode is close to our home and look forward to many future visits.
