The North End at 4580 Reviews
Sadly, this wonderful restaurant has closed forever. The food, service, and ambience were superb. It was a favorite of many locals and James and Brennan, owner and bartender, became personal friends with the clientele (along with too many of the staff to mention). 4580 occupied a great space along the continuously-developing North Broadway corridor in Boulder; hopefully, a new and just-as-good restaurant will take over and prosper. We love this restaurant but they just announced that they are closing for good this Friday . You might be able to get a reservation if you hurry. They are also selling off their wine selection at half price while the stock lasts. Specialties still available include shrimp and bacon mac and cheese, bacon-wrapped dates, house burger, steak, salmon, and great desserts. Signature cocktails are well worth sampling. We will miss them very much.
The low light and fast service had me upon entry. This is the exact kind of place you'd imagine if "modern Colorado bistro" was in mind. The drink, a French 75 was tasteful, same as the ambiance. The braised short ribs could be a on a TV show. Would eat again, would recommend.
