Chess club meet up was in-da-house! Coffee was good too! It was very busy and eclectic.

We'll never comeback here. Two useless casher assistant, ne is short hair and a kong hair. They never say Hi and hello we only have one line. When we got there they both in there. Who know's only one is serving. We though there's a two line since they both in there. The long hair told us to back in line. Acting like nothing happen. So crowded and full of student.

The coffee and pastries are not bad, but not great either. The seats in the main shop are usually full and you cam expect to wait in line but there is plenty of seating in the back patio. Lots of cool Buddist stuff. A decent selection of books but most are pretty pricey, especially for used prices. Staff is friendly and helpful, customers seem happy.

In a town where affordable 3rd spaces are sorely lacking, Trident has been such a welcome mainstay in my routine. Nowhere else in town am I able to strike up such easy conversations with strangers, read for hours, and catch local music on such a regular basis. This is one of those places where you'll want to be a regular, as it's a great spot to meet new people, relax, and find a social routine.

I initially went there to focus on my work, but unexpectedly found myself at an open mic event. It completely lifted my spirits; the atmosphere was vibrant and engaging. Not to mention, the coffee and desserts they offered were exceptional. If you're looking for a lively weekend option, this is a top choice. However, if you prefer a quieter environment to focus on your own tasks, this still would be the ideal place.

Absolutely the best place to work or study. I love the covered patio area and how quiet it is here.

Old-school hippy boulder meets new-school yuppy coffee / tea house. Still one of my favorite places to go for coffee in Boulder, and either just hang out, work, or meet someone. Think neighborhood coffee shop before starbucks or a pub where you go to meet friends and relax, not get drunk. These types of places are too few in number now. Unfortunately, everyone else thinks so too so tables can be tricky to snag, esp on cooler days.

Trident Bookstore and Cafe is a legit treasure of Boulder. I went in during a snowstorm around 8:30am and it was PACKED. It seemed like all the locals came in to warm up and get out of the house. The bookstore is really cool and has great books to choose from. I walked over to the cafe and ordered a Cafe Florentine. It was a little bizarre that they served it to me in a glass, but maybe they were out of mugs? I would love to visit this place in the summer because they have a large indoor/outdoor space that would be fun to work in. Interior space has beautiful classic brick, a cozy fireplace and creaky wooden floors. It's timeless. I've read a few things about the staff that weren't so nice, but I had a good experience and would recommend this place to a friend!

Got coffee and browsed books. Rather small place, you will finish browsing before finishing your coffee. Book selection not as diverse, but the coffee is pretty good. Recommend getting your coffee to go.

Great bookstore. Lots of alternative stuff and vinyl records and cafe attached AND A venue out the back. I caught a recent open mic night there with music and poetry I enjoyed the vibe. Bought some books too.
