Pioneer crossing along with Ten Mile Station, and the Overlook, are your best on-mountain dining options. Between the relaxed bar area and the food options (the rotating chef's special is always good), Pioneer crossing makes up for the fact it gets crowded. A small bonus is that there is a gear shop in the vestibule incase you need to pick up things like extra sunscreen, neck gators, etc.
I enjoyed stopping in for a beer when I needed a break from skiing. The view was great, good selection of draft beer and others in the group said the hot chocolate was great as well. We got food but it wasn’t that memorable. Prices are standard for the mountain.
