We dined with a group of 8. Atmosphere was fair. Food presentation was very nice although taste and quality was ok at best. Five of us had the steak and none would reorder. The were precooked and heated so rare was not an option. My wife did not get her meal until the other seven of us we finished eating. They did give us an insincere apology and not charge us for hers. We took it to go and put it on the trash. Saddest part was that when we left the owner/chef was in the aisle talking to a table. He never acknowledged with an “I’m sorry” or “ Thank you”. Being a restaurateur myself I understand mistakes. What I can’t fathom is how this was handled.

Happy hour from 5-6 at the small bar was very enjoyable. Friendly conversations with chef and bartender about the food and patrons about life’s adventures. 2-4-1 appetizers were not pub food but high end, creative and delicious. Highly recommend the scallops and duck. Drinks were also marked down considerably

Where to begin? This was our first time eating at Ember and we absolutely loved it. My husband and I are big foodies and love to try new (to us) and interesting places. This place was amazing! We both had the scallop appetizer and it was one delicious bite after the next. Like a food adventure. So many different flavors in every bite. The presentation was also incredible and creative. The steak and quail entrees, again an incredible food journey we didn’t want to end.Overall a 10/10. If we lived in Breck we would frequent this place often. You have to try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Food is pretty good, definitely an artsy place that does a good job presenting the plates. Portions look small but filled us up, no one was really hungry afterwards. All the plates had eclectic pairing of ingredients and flavors, for the most part the Elk was the favorite of the table. Tables are spread out over 4 different levels (some flights of stairs are only 3-4 steps, others are more). Dining is usually a three course meal if seated but a la carte if in the bar area but the bar is pretty small. Prices weren't listed but we found out that an individual app, meal, and dessert equals the 3course price so might as well do the 3course.

Great service. Has a wannabe Michelin star feel in the service alone. The food is barely mediocre at best. Salt is clearly not available in the kitchen. If you like sugary sweet appetizers and entrees you may like it. I’ve been twice and had good experiences in service both times, but have not eaten more than a bite of each meal. It’s a very expensive experience but would recommend looking elsewhere for food.

A romantic setting, attentive staff, creative and delicious menu, we had a wonderful night. The menu was a pre-fixed with several choices. I had the salad with buttery bib lettuce on top a flavorful blue cheese dressing, with some delightful Brie crab croutons. Each bite was a burst of flavor with the interestingly plated flavors. Mr entree was the New York strip steak with a cherry sauce and celery root mashed potatoes. The sear was just right and the cherry sauce was unlike any other steak sauce, with sweet notes to complement the saltiness of the steak. I completed my meal with the blueberry pie. It was a perfect ending to a great experience with the blueberry pastry lemon custard and salty whipped cream. I would also highly recommend the peartini for a signature cocktail. We will be telling our friends about what a lovely experience we had.

This place tries too hard to combine flavors that don’t go together. The atmosphere was creepy. I was left with food poisoning afterwards. Should I mention the chef is a registered sex offender? Lets leave it at that.

Found this place on a whim and glad we did! The food is perfect, not to much on the plate and very delicious. Having been many spots around the globe this place shows off the culinary genius of the chef and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend this chic setting for a fine dining experience.

Failed to mention parties of six had gratuity included, our server allowed us to tip additionally while standing at the table knowing this information. Food was not that impressive for the price point at which is was set. Very small dishes. Overall, save your money and go elsewhere much better food at better prices in Breckenridge.

!Warning to customers with life threatening tree nut allergies! At Ember on the Saturday before New Years Eve 2023, my family member was exposed to a tree nut allergen despite our advising our lovely waiter specifically about the details of the allergy and receiving assurances from the kitchen that the dish had no Walnuts, Pecans, Pistachio or Brazil nuts in it nor could it have been cross contaminated. We alerted Connor immediately after the symptoms of exposure began and removed ourselves from the dining area to administer an Epinephrine injector. One injector was not enough due to the amount of cross contamination in my family member's soup/soft shelled crab. Our entire party had to leave after just the appetizer to spend the rest of the evening with our family member in the Frisco hospital ER. It was an absolutely horrifying experience. It's been especially disturbing that a manager never came to our table during the 20 min from the first symptoms and the 2 episodes of removing ourselves from the small dining room to go outside to use the Epinephrine injectors. No one has called over the last 3 days to check on the status of our family member and I have not received a response to my contact email requesting to speak with a manager or the chef/owner. This is appalling as this tree nut cross contamination threatened my family member's life.
