“My family and I had to stay in Breckenridge due to a blizzard from Winter Park to Denver. I had the corned beef and cabbage. My husband had the shepherd's pie. My daughter had the Irish stew. It was perfect on a cold winter's night. Portions were perfect for a hungry family of 3. The best dish though was that Irish stew. Deliciously perfect potatoes withe equally perfect beef in a rich gravy. My daughter ate part of the bread bowl as well as everything inside. Would totally recommend!“
“I've been coming to this place for years and I have a nice time, every time. I finally decided to leave a review because I noticed they're getting lots of outrageous flack. This is a pub staffed by locals, for locals. The staff are super chill and they will reflect the energy you give. Be kind and patient, and they'll be kind and patient back. Be rude, and expect to get called out for it. Just treat the staff like human beings and they'll do the same to you, which is how it ought to be. Plus, if you ever go to a pub in Ireland, you'll find the exact same type of attitude. The food quality varies - sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it's not, but you go to a pub to drink beer and be merry, not for a 5 star meal. Stop complaining and just be happy that people who live and work in ski towns put up with all you snow bunnies, influencers, WASPs, and rich entitled suburbanites! Just chill out and go with the vibe, we don't owe you anything for making our mountain towns overpriced and underhoused! If you walk into a local bar, don't get mad when you get kicked out or yelled at for being a demanding POS tourist. And remember, everyone has their bad days and they don't have to fake a smile so as to not hurt your puny feelings. And yes, they have the right to refuse service to anyone. Never change, Mullys.“
“Great atmosphere, staff are kind and available but not pushy. They leave you alone when you are occupied.Beers were reasonably priced, half priced apps/soups in happy hours was a lucky find. Potato soup was pretty bomb for $3.50 in breck.Shepherds pie was solid (though the description did not mention cheese and I would have preferred it without), but a bit small. The bull head def brings good luck“
