Aside from the amazing service and traditional menu that is served late night and executed amazingly we had an opportunity to experience a unique tasting menu for a new concept, derived by two of the head chefs of the restaurant.Tavern underground hosted a modern Japanese tasting menu, Kin, that highlighted aspects of Japanese steakhouses, Ramen, restaurants, and the best cocktails you would find in Japan. Chef Charlie and his staff executed flawlessly, especially on the Wagyu hot stone.I highly recommend Tavern underground, and their staff if you’re ever in Breckenridge.

Our waiter was great and the drinks were great. The food was mediocre at best. Our group had several apps and a variety of main course options. They were just ok. Go for a fun time and good cocktails but skip the food.

Family of 10...restaurant is very cool atmosphere, however some of the people at the bar (which was very close proximity) got loud and you couldn't have a conversation. Food was great! Service was ok. The servers were extremely polite and helpful, but seemed overwhelmed with customer. I would recommend, but be patient...cocktails were great too!!!

My partner and I stopped here for happy hour after a full day of skiing. We absolutely LOVED our meal!! The grouper tacos were to die for and the drinks were so unique and tasty. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. We’ve already told friends and loved ones and can’t wait to head back! Definitely the best happy hour in Breck!

Waiting 15 minutes and a trip to the hostess to be attended to. No apology from anyone. Red leaf salad was excellent even though the lettuce was green leaf. Bad French fries. 3% added service charge for kitchen staff. Nonsense.

Beautiful, chic atmosphere. Cocktail menu was phenomenal and the bartenders were accommodating, entertaining, and wonderful to chat with. We had the hummus appetizer and It was fresh and delicious. The mezcal-pineapple cocktail was our favorite. Cannot wait to visit on my next trip.
Great drinks and ambience. We ordered chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. The sandwich was dry and we received plain fries rather than Cajun. We've ordered the chicken before and what we received last night was not as good.

The food and the carefully crafted cocktails were delightful. Don't be fooled by the small menu, we tried almost everything and it was all yummy so there is no need for a deeper menu!
Solid spot! In mountains the food is usually over priced and quality is lacking. The food and cocktails are delicious and the service is outstanding. Worth the money for a mountain town!

Service was unusually poor this past evening. Perhaps there was an unforeseen staffing issue. However, we waited over an hour for the server to return to take our food order after placing our drink orders.
