My online order was wrong. I didn’t notice til I got home after picking it up. I was told online my order would be ready at 5:30 but was not received until 6:00. It was very busy and short staffed. Luckily what I did get was good.

No one can compare to this wonderful cuisine. It is time to reopen to dining in. We have been through twice in the last year and have had to pass because we can't take it to go. We compare all sushi restaraunts to Sunrise and none compare. Please open back up to dining in.

This is my favorite place. Marci G doesn't know what is hot. This is the best is town. We will order here over and over. Covid is tough. Takeouts can cause a set back, but its up to us to keep these awesome restaurants in business. If you dont have patience, cook at home, Karen.

well I have tried four times to post a true negative review, but they don't let you do that. They don't want the truth come up but after what I saw, the health department will deal with it.

I wish I could leave a negative five-star rating. If you want good service and good sushi, do NOT go to Sunshine Sushi in Brighton! Worst service in the whole wide world, and the food was mediocre at best. Ordered online, for curbside pickup, get there, try to call, oh no they keep their phone off the hook so that you can't call and have them bring it out. They won't do that, you have to go inside, with the other 20 customers half of whom have no masks and they are not doing anything about it, and no social distancing. All these people standing waiting for these orders. You would think someone would acknowledge your presence in the restaurant and ask if they could help you, but no, that doesn't happen either. Your order is supposed to be ready at 6:25, and after standing and being ignored for 10 minutes and finally you ask at 6:35 you're told "we have too many order you wait". 45 minutes after the time that your meal is supposed to be ready you finally get it from nasty, rude people. All they keep doing is throwing receipts around saying "too many order too many order too many order". If you have too many order, then quit taking order, and take care of the customers you have. if you cannot meet a promised time of delivery, then don't promise a time. If you can't handle doing business in this pandemic or whatever, then don't do it. I understand it's difficult, but if you cannot offer a decent product with decent service, then just close your doors. Order placed at 5:20, received at 7:10. I will NEVER go back!

We just ordered this past weekend. I had the sesame chicken and my husband ordered the sushi (3 types). He said that his sushi was fantastic. We loved it. My sesame chicken was lacking. The chicken was tough and there wasn't a lot of sauce. We will continue to pick up sushi from here.

Delicious sushi and chef rolls! Great staff. Absolutely love this place. Not many options of good food in Brighton, so this is one of my go to places.

The sushi was prepared sloppy, but good. And the service was horrible, we ordered on line and spent almost 70 bucks and they gave us a pickup time and when I got there they had me waiting almost 30 minutes for our food, and on top of that I asked for some teriyaki sauce with our order and they were sooo cheap with the it, ya think you could spare some maybe, ? and my wife even gave them a tip with our order...which I picked up at there front counter myself...a tip for what? Me waiting for almost 30 mins...and I saw other people waiting around also...just ridiculous....never again..

Driving thru area but glad we made the stop! Food was very fresh and full of flavor! Had Bento Box with Teriyaki and Egg Drop Soup... are outside in the shady area.
