Went to Big Dog for a tasty sandwich, only to discover they shut the doors :( I hope they just moved somewhere.

I am so sad to see this shop go. I have no where that i like sandwhiches now. Nothing compares to Big Dog Deli Mastiff! You will be missed!!!!

I LOVE this place. Best real deli in town, and honestly better than any deli I've been to Denver as well. The bread is perfect, ingredients are spot on, and the staff are so welcoming. I wish I lived closer to this place!!!

Locally owned and operated, this hidden treasure has many options as far as sandwiches are concerned. Well worth trying if you haven't yet. It's been running on its reputation for over two decades.

All around great experience! The food recommendation, the food, and the customer service was excellent. Even if the gentleman gave me a hard time about being from Texas I will definitely be back while I am in town.

Came here to try something new. Wasn't sure what to try for the first time but the gentleman behind the counter helped us out and gave us 2 surprises which did not disappoint! Glad we took the chance and look forward to coming back for more ?

Love this place. Don't go as often as I used to. Bread is great, sandwich combination choice is great, nothing fancy, but good.

I go here like once a week. If there’s a better sandwich spot, I haven’t found it. Huge sandwiches with awesome toppings. Staff is super cool. If you haven’t tried it you should.

The best tasting sandwiches in the surrounding area. 5 stars. Lots of options for the whole family—beef, turkey, veggie, meatball, chicken, and more. The listing of sandwich additions is long and tasty. Service is outstanding. The are busy, so order ahead or be patient.

I likely won't ever return. I was excited to support local, and I am all for that, but basically I paid for a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a light spread of tuna. I saved a photo of my sandwich - I could not even taste the tuna, just tasted the lettuce and tomato. There was barely any tuna there, I mean seriously??? Like I said, I am all for supporting local but if they are this skimpy, I won't be back. I get way more tuna on a sandwich at Subway. I am just disappointed overall. The place inside looks gross, and is not inviting; there is no way I would ever want to dine in at all. The music was blasting so loud I could barely hear the cashier - why does staff feel the need to crank the music up like we are in some kind of dance club? Not a good visit and a very bad first impression leaves me not wanting to return.

Giant and juicy portions at excellent prices. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Owner and staff were super friendly and thankful we stopped by. I love to help out local when I can and this place really hit the spot for me. Sandwiches were big and tasted amazing and the kindness of the staff really sealed the deal for me!

Best sandwich I've had in a long time! I'll come back here anytime I'm in town from now on!

Been eating here for 15+ years. Still trying to figure out what makes these the best sandwiches I've ever had... I think it's the bread. Hands down the best sandwiches in Colorado, perhaps even the country. I love the small, unrenovated shop too. Just my kind of place. Old, grungy, hole in the wall shop with the world's best sandwiches.
