We went for Valentine's Day and our mashed potatoes were ice cold. We also ordered a bottle of wine and we didn't get to taste it first. Overall, the service and food were not good and it was immensely overpriced.

We had a relatively nice valentine's evening meal there. The food was good, the service was great but a little slow. My rating would be higher except for strange experiences we had with the check out. multiple times the bill that we were asked to pay was very different from what our actual charges were and the tip was based on an inflated price which wasn't on the original receipt. If I hadn't been careful, I would've overpaid by about $30 and tipped for a $210 meal instead of $150 one. Overall, I'm not sure if it was a mistake or it was intentional as after we addressed it the first time the errors were still present and we paid for the meal that we got and tipped based on the price of that meal not what was suggested. Overall a weird experience and I'm not sure I go there again.

We had a Wonderful dinner last night with our family of four. We each chose 2 tapas and shared all 8 dishes. The food was delicious and we had a friendly and helpful server. A fun, dining concept!

The menu choices were great, although the drink prices were a bit high ($10/ beer). But I thoroughly enjoyed trying the new tapas from around the globe. Ask for a passport- they will give you a stamp for each tapa from one of the six featured continents. We will be going there for trivia every other Monday and will certainly be back for dinner as well. It is worth a try!

It was pretty mediocre, they didn't offer options to remove the mushrooms from the food.

Truly terrible experience for Christmas Eve “dinner” yesterday. So much so that we didn't even wait for our drinks before we walked out. First, the staff was beyond rude, one of whom mumbled under his breath every time he walked away from the table next to us after they asked for very basic things (silverware, for example). After being seated at our table, no one said a single thing to us for 20 minutes until I said something to them. The server said they were understaffed, except that there were only 4 tables of people in the entire restaurant, and 3 servers. He then clearly had no idea how to use put the order into the handheld device. Finally, we were given brunch menus only. Given it was Christmas Eve at 4 pm, no, we were not interested in omelettes. Nowhere was it clear that they were only offering a limited menu. We overheard others asking about the brunch menu, as confused as we were. Bottom line, a terrible experience.

Took the entire clan out to dinner for the first time to "Roots" (300 Main Street, Longmont) and was very pleasantly surprised. Service was first-rate, and the food was excellent. Between the 6 of us, we had 5 different meals, and no one had a single complaint. Give "Roots" a try, I do not think that you will be disappointed.

A great around-the-world fusion meal. The chef owner knows how to blend flavors to enhance every dish. The bread pudding and sauce are worth the trip, regardless of what else you order! We've been all hours of the day, and never walk out disappointed.

Roots was excellent! Visited for the first time and was really impressed, not only by the food, but by the feel of the restaurant. Great ambiance. The food was great and we enjoyed everything we had.

Bret and I hired Roots for our wedding and the food was FABULOUS! From the appetizers to the buffet to the late night snack--everything tasted delicious. I cannot count how many times our guests and family came up to us to compliment the food. Roots is so easy to work with and really catered to our every need. We are so happy with everything they put together and would definitely recommend them for any wedding!

We've followed Roots from their original location in Broomfield. While they are further away from us now, we will continue to eat in their new venue as the food is amazing. Visits from the chef/ owner at our table only increases the already great service. Do yourself a favor and make some plans to go. Vegan menu items also available

Honestly the worst service I've maybe ever had. Rude and extremely unprofessional wait staff. Food was fine. Would not return. Would not recommend. I went on thanksgiving. My group was thousands of miles away from family and appreciated finding a place that was open and had meat plus vegan options. For 5 of us we were handed 1 drink menu and told there were menus online if we needed more (other people had food and drink menus). We asked about a wine - the server responded “I don't know, I don't drink”. There was no offer of asking the bartender, so, a different bottle was ordered. An open bottle of wine was casually dropped at the table. No pouring, no “how is it”. Food service was worse than wine service. It seemed more like a pizza party than a meal at a nice restaurant - “grab one and pass it down”. We later joked chilis would have had better service. Time came for the check. The worst part! We'd requested alcohol/food separate and reminded the server at payment. He asked for a card for the wine - but charged the whole tab and literally ran away and ignored us. Another server came to help. We liked him and wished he was our server the whole time. But then we'd heard him and our original server say “fu-k vegans”. While the food was fine we left with a bad taste in our mouths. But hey, thanks for the memories.

Fantastic spot for a quiet birthday dinner. The menus is delightfully innovative and we loved the creative vegan options. It might be a little pricey for a regular-visit thing but great for special occasions.

We went for Sunday brunch. Lots of seating options for small and large groups. Loved the variety of options on the menu - everyone found something to enjoy. The building has a lot of history, the staff even explained a few pictures on the wall regarding the vault. Food was good, it was a little slow to be served but they let us know. I recommend ordering a coffee or cocktail to enjoy while you wait. Overall great experience and a fun atmosphere. Looking forward to dining again.
