This is the third attempt at staying with a local business way out east. Next time we will drive in town to eat. All the food was cold, we never received some of our ordered items, and the server order an incorrect entree, because she didn’t know they had a dinner and a sandwich. The server (shouldn’t call her that she didn’t do that part of her job), was overwhelmed with 3 tables seated, then she had five tables to deal with and it got worse. When the customer has to ask for a drink after 30 mins of being empty there is a problem in my opinion. Horrible service all three times, ok food when it’s hot, prices are ok. It’s well worth the time to drive to Colorado Springs.
The rocky mtn oysters were awful, cut way to thin, breading was falling off taste was sharp! Need thicker cuts. Soak the oysters in salt water before slicing, better batter and omg the price was outlandish for not even one oyster !! Ill stick to fresh from the steer thank you!

They work so hard to provide a much needed service in our little town. My favorite is their loaded burgers. They are huge and juicy. I haven't tried a bloody Mary there yet, but I will definitely be going back for the bloody Mary bar days.I was also there really early one day (meeting at my son's school) and I went in to ask if they had coffee to go. The gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to offer me a cup of coffee in a styrofoam cup.. he didn't charge me anything. I wasn't expecting that, but it was very appreciated. I was having a tough morning.

We tried lady luck for breakfast and weren't too enthused. When I got my biscuits and gravy it was cold, when my son got his breakfast burrito it was soaked in grease. My son used 3 of our napkins to make it toware he could at least eat the burrito. On top of that while I was drinking my soda I noticed a bug pushed up against the inside of the cup, yes I know we live in the country but you could tell this bug had actually been there since the drink was poured. The waitress was awesome but the food was not up to par. I've thought about giving it another try but the lack of response from the owner has me thinking otherwise.

We have been here several times to give this place a chance since they opened, service is always good and the drinks are good as well, it seems like a nice and clean place and you can see into the kitchen and it’s nice and clean as well, but the food has been pretty sub par every time, sandwiches are very plain, the chicken fried steak tastes like they use a very cheap piece of meat, and all the sides are not all that great, if you want to go to get drinks and maybe some appetizers this place would be great but as far as getting an actual meal there I would advise against and go somewhere else
