This place is ridiculous. They are way over priced for the quality of food and service. They take complete advantage of the tourists. Service was extremely slow. Would not recommend stopping here

On the way up to Pikes Peek we decided to try Mildreds Cafe, I ordered a Juicy Lucy. Phenomenal! Cooked to perfection. This sandwich was made for the wondering traveler. Incredible! I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I read where a man said he would drag his balls across broken glass for another juicy Lucy and now I can see why he said that!

I never leave reviews but I had to for this experience. Horrible, rude staff. Overpriced for such low quality food.

Their sweets are really great. Awesome pie awesome shakes and not overly sweet or fake. Tastes homemade and rich. The strawberry milkshake tastes like real stawberries. Their burgers are unique with a nice bun and cheese inside the burger. Excellent mountain comfort food, great way to replenish calories after a long hike. Some of the low reviews on here are infuriating clearly made by folks who frequent starbucks drive thrus. Its a diner not a coffee chain relax, enjoy the comfy booth seats and the mountain views.

While staying at a close-by Airbnb, ordered take-out for lunch today. Overall, it was good but could be a bit better. I ordered the cheesesteak sub (along with another member of my party) and felt that it lacked the expected flavor. The beef was OK but, oddly enough, included sliced tomatoes and lettuce. Did not have the nice cheese-mixed-with-beef-juice that I'd expect. In retrospect, should have ordered the version with peppers that was more expensive but expected the basic product to have, at the very least, grilled onions. Overall a good sliced beef sandwich but not up to cheesesteak expectations. Another person in the party ordered the meatball sub and found it very good. I do have to add that their sub rolls were quite good. We ordered the large fries expecting that, at the price they charged, to feed the 3 of us. The order was actually rather small and had a strange sweet undertone that I could not decode. Not a great effort. The malt ordered with the meal was very good. It's very much oriented to people headed to Pikes Peak or hiking area trails and, as a tourist-oriented restaurant, had reasonable prices (except for the fries which were crazy overpriced.) Be warned that their website takes you to some unknown Korean-language page. The only place you'll see a menu is in one of the pictures on this site.

While the food was somewhat tasty, my daughters and I left hungry and $30 lighter. Food served in styrofoam and plastic in meager portions that took awhile to get. Wouldn't go back.

We enjoyed our meal and will definitely go back. Good service and food.

Food is good and worth the price, I've cream is good too. Service is really, rEaLlY, REALLY slow. And the menu is not complicated to justify that. Service is very nice, great people!

Rude cashier! Was told I couldn't throw two cups into the trash bin outside because it wasn't for public use. Mind you, I stopped to buy ice cream from this place. I pointed out there was no sign on the garbage can that said that, which was met with more attitude from the cashier. Save your money and go 20 steps down to sweet tooth deli instead.

Great atmosphere! Great food as well. Super clean. Hope whoever buys it keeps it the same!
Such an adorable place with simple yet delicious food! We stopped by for a late lunch after coming down from Pikes Peak & it was exactly what we were looking for. It is a small place & the decor is adorable, 50’s style music coming from an old jukebox was a great touch!

Quaint family run diner with good food and fun atmosphere, with a jukebox playing. A little pricey, but not bad for being at the base of Pike's peak.

Great little step back in time. Great food and shakes are to die for.

Not bad cafe food. Service was a little lacking though. Not many places to eat in the area. Unfortunately it looks like it is up for sale.

Super good sandwiches and is a time travel back a couple years.
