We went to Wines of Colorado for lunch today. We were pleasantly greeted and seated promptly by Amber, who was also our server for our meal. She was very pleasant, attentive and accommodating! There was a little bit of a wait for our food to come out, but we had a seat by the windows with a lovely view of the creek and woods. They had an enjoyable music playlist in the background. Our meals were correct and delicious. My husband had the lasagna. I had the soup and salad combo (butternut squash bisque and garden salad, I think it was) with grilled chicken added. It was excellent and a nice portion, enough that I took some of the bisque home as leftovers. We really enjoyed our experience, and hope to be seated with Amber again in the future.

Kent was are bartender and literally was just so awesome to us great service great social skills. Will definitely come back to see him.
Service was slow. The open kitchen allowed us to see how long our food sat until it was served. Hint: it was a long time. Enough time for it to get cold. The portabella sandwich had 2X the bread v the mushroom. Very disappointing. The chili rellano was average at best. Great location but it was a fail for us. The kitchen seemed to do their job but the wait staff was not very attentive. I would skip this place.I will say I liked the concept of CO wine only and we had a couple of glasses of pretty good wines.

My husband and I love Wines of Colorado and we always bring out of town guests here. The food, atmosphere and service today were excellent. Erica gave exceptional service being out by the creek. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the prices have gone way up. I was going to call instead of leave a review, but when I saw the owners rude comment to another reviewer about it being more than Mc Donald’s, I realized they don’t care how the customer feels about the escalated prices. I get the real estate aspect but for lunch, $18 for a quarter of a wedge and French onion soup is outrageous. I’ve have been in the food and beverage business over 20 years, neither are expensive to make. $18 is extortion and the server never told us there would be additional price up charge, which at that price would be nice to know before hand. Also a small side of fries is $4 and it’s small. I agree that not everyone can enjoy dining here unless you have a good amount of money and it’s just so sad because this really is a special place but I guess most places are pricing out middle to lower income people and only want to cater to the elites.Please reference pictures *Sod(soup of the day)Soup & salad combo $18Rueben and Sod $16French dip and Sod $17Again how was a soup and salad this much when the other two were less- do better!!!

Staff was super friendly but the Burgers were dry and not flavorfull. Ordered TAKE OUT ordered burger medium well and it was over done. For the price you pay you would think you are getting great food cooked correctly. Not worth it!

Update: we had dinner here last night. As always, solid food, great atmosphere, and wonderful wine flights. And I have to give a shoutout to our server, Amber. She's great. Fun and helpful and helped make it a great evening.This is a lovely location for a restaurant, with the stream running by. The staff is great, and even though they were short staffed and we had to wait a bit for our food, there was a sign on the door setting the expectation and our waiter was clear and friendly and helpful when it came to the wait. And the views more than made the wait easy to take. The crispy duck we had was ok, not great. Its actually fried, like calamari, not crispy like in a Chinese restaurant. The salads were all good and fresh. The green chili was ok. The fish and chips were first rate, light and crispy and good in a sandwich as well. The meatloaf was also very solid. And most important, the wines were great, and getting a few wine flights is a must-do.
Wonderful evening with friends! Our server was Amber and she was outstanding! Very attentive to our needs, made suggestions, personable and likable! The food was pretty good! Side salad as expected, chicken tacos were tasty and the Reuben sandwich above average. Always our Go To place
