I don't know what it is about this location but it is ALWAYS slow. There is no urgency from the staff whatsoever. I am writing this review while waiting for my online order where I arrived 5 minutes after the claimed ready time and have been here for at least 25 minutes. There are also around 10 other people here going through the same thing. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence. Every visit takes an absurd amount of time even when ordering something as simple as a meatball sub. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

Attempted to try this place again a year later after being disappointed. My simple cold cut turkey sandwich was microwaved or toasted. Yuk! So I transferred half of sandwich contents to other half of sandwich so I could eat it faster. Sadly it tasted like slime and I trashed it. Bread was only item that was good. Purchased 3 sandwiches and nobody was happy. Never trying again.

Usually love the subs but last night's experience was extremely disappointing. Ordered online for 7pm pickup. Sandwiches finally ready at 7:30pm. 2 people working, no sign of a manager. 3rd person showed up at 7:20pm. Didn't even wash his hands. Just tossed his jacket in the back and started handling food. Handed my sandwiches to me & told me I'd ordered chips and drinks. No kidding! Waited for him to give me drink cups. He didn't. Asked for drink cups and he asked what size. I don't care!! Finally, he gave me one cup, had to ask, again, for the 2nd cup. When I got home and was finally able to sit down and enjoy (?) my sandwich, it was swimming in mayo, when I asked for light, with different toppings than ordered. I'd suggest training your staff and having a manager onsite. Leaving high school kids to run a restaurant unsupervised isn't a good business model, although their buddies hanging out at one table seemed to enjoy it.

Sam and Corey always provide excellent service at Firehouse Castle Rock! In there almost every day of the week.
Ok location.....nice staff..BUT NEVER very quick on getting your food....the typical wait is between 15 to 35 min to get a sandwich....kind of unfortunate but seem to always be understaffed...the food is good though...place is always clean....

Food is good but took way to long to get sandwich. So many people waiting. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to get sandwich. I get all businesses are short staffed but then owner's of this business need to be working here also. Had I known it was going to take this long to get sandwich I would have gone to Subway! I won't be coming here again. I'll be going to Subway and Subway is cheaper.
