Meat is great . But avoid the sides, mashed potatoes were dry and macaroni and cheese were horrible . The price didn’t help it was $30.

Service is great and prices are reasonable. I love that they have a drive-thru. I don't know of any BBQ joint that has one. You just call in your order, then drive-up pick up your food. Food is good, Ribs and brisket are tender, but I wish there was more flavor in the meat.

I use to come here every morning for the breakfast burritos when I worked in the area. Now the burritos are just a myth every single time I stop by its either not open, they run out, or it's not ready. And I end up across the street at santiagos. And heard through the great vine the price has doubled.

Honestly thought it was a decent place for BBQ for the area until the last time I went got a "full" rack of ribs and 1 lbs of pork a little more than $50. When I got home the "full" rack was actually a half rack so they got me there won't be going back after that. Check your orders I've let things go here before because they were small mishaps but literally missing a third of the food I ordered is a problem.

I am visiting from California, traveling throughout Colorado on a golf trip. Staying at a hotel close by so I decided to get some takeout from Old West Barbecue. Unfortunately I did not catch the name of the owner and his daughter, but they treated me so well! Great conversation and even better food! I ordered the pulled pork and brisket along with the macaroni & cheese and baked beans….Insanely good!! I have lunch for tomorrow as the proportions are NOT small. Fortunately I am here for one more night, thus, I know where dinner will be tomorrow! If you are in or traveling through Castle Rock… Do yourself a favor and stop here, you won’t regret it!

Place only is doing drive through. Has a lobby but they’ve turned it into a play pen for their dogs. I know Covid was rough on restaurants but this one was pretty sad looking and at 6:30 at night no one was there. We were looking to try a local place but when the lobby was closed, they lost our business and we went elsewhere.

Chicken so good my husband slapped the counter.For real.All the food is amazing. Brisket, sausage chicken, sides. The potatoe salad.. o.m.gJust go and experience it.Drive through only but that's not a problem. Food and people are the best.
Great food! Love the cornbread and brisket! Locally owned company staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a little high but inflation is too!! Great food for your money! 4.5

Yum yum yum who doesn't love BBQ and great service. I had no idea what to order and even though it was late at night still felt special and like a valued person rather than an annoying customer. Then had a delicious meal that literally restored me back to life!! It was such a cold night and the BBQ and great service warmed me up and got me motivated to get back on the road. Thanks old west BBQ! Hope to drive through again soon!!

Some of THE best ribs this side of Texas and they smoke their own meats right behind the restaurant! Makes the whole neighborhood smell wonderful! I work at a motel down the road from them and I love it when I go outside on those days! And the service is very good as well! Thanks guys.... absolute awesome supreme!

There were so many choices, it was difficult to decide what to get! I ordered the ribs, brisket, homemade potato salad and baked beans! It came with 2 slices of bread. Everything was delicious! And the employees were very friendly! I will return when I am in Castle Rock, CO!
