Terrible experience at this restaurant last night. The server constantly put drinks down on one end of the table for us to pass out ourselves. Drinks empty for 15 minutes or more. No napkins or silverware when food was delivered. Wings served without vegis. When the waitress received a 12% tip from us she flipped out causing a major scene in the restaurant. We feel that tipping is extremely important but you don't automatically receive a tip. Tipping is based on quality of service. The kitchen manager and the waitress started screaming at us and called one of the women with us terrible names. She said you obviously don't work for tips you stupid B! It was so unprofessional. Scary and uncalled for. The waitress started taking our plates, drinks and told us we needed to leave. I have never been treated this way or approached based on a tip. It was extremely terrifying to have someone slamming cups and plates in front of you and screaming at you. I know this restaurant sold and will be taken over by new owners. We have loved coming here for over 5 years and my hope is that the new owners take into consideration who they keep on staff. There is absolutely no need to keep classless staff in this restaurant.

Have to give Berg Haus 5 stars because it was a great experience and meal top to bottom.The service was not the fastest but we were not expecting drive through service and our server was awesome. She was very attentive and helpful.Tons of TVs so will be a great drop in if there are some good games on. Plenty of seating, inside and out.We had a couple of beers, good and cold. All of us had the Haus Burger, all were cooked perfectly. Love that char burger taste. And they are a big burger. I added Jalapeños on my burger and on the side, yum. And the sweet potato fries, just killer. Light and crunchy. I also got some of the others fries, lightly breaded and delicious. I could have eaten just a basket of them both.The food menu is limited but there are a number of things I still want to try, like the wings, the Brat and the Breakfast Burrito.Looking forward to another few stops so will add more pictures when we go back.

Just okay. Bottom shelf whiskey / bourbon. Only food items were a burger, wings and a breakfast burrito. No salads or apps.

Oh shoot! I was really pulling for this place. Need a local place. The 4 beers our group ordered were out. The replacements the server suggested were ok. The new menu has only a few items, breakfast burrito, bratwurst and burger. The burger was raw inside, the brats were ok but cold. The buns were hard. The breakfast burrito was deep fried and just not tasty. The wings were good! On a good note, atmosphere was great and plenty of people were there enjoying Sunday football. The staff was so nice. We are really pulling for them to get the food dialed in so we can spend more time here!

This place fired all their employees on thanksgiving! That’s low…And employees did not get paid 5 weeks prior to their lay off! Horrible bosses

Service was great! A bit dark inside. Got there right before close and couldn't try the food because the kitchen was closed! But heard the pretzel was delish! So next time I'm in town def will try the pretzel! Staff were so sweet! Would def recommend!

I didn't eat anything, just had a beer but it's a nice big, but kind of hidden in a strip mall, sports bar. Very friendly staff.

I began my adventure to Castle Pines with The Berg Haus! Their menu is short and simple, which I like! Their Berg Cabernet Sauvingon was SO GOOD. Got the Bavarian pretzel last night and that was delicious. Waitstaff was super nice. The large table we sat at had some kind of epoxy resin that had some art thing underneath. Can't quite remember exactly what it was but I remember it was a super cool table. Picture of part of it in my review with the mini top hat and wine glass. Everyone there was so friendly!

Not great, folks. We went for an Oktoberfest event but there was no Oktoberfest beer to be had. Poor waitstaff of 2 nice ladies were trying to manage the entire restaurant, not very successfully. Food was bad. Appearance and taste was no different than if someone with no cooking skills went to buy bulk prepped frozen food and heated it up according to the box instructions. No thought, just very limited bar food done poorly.
QuickTake: a casual spot for some traditional food, and good drinks selection. A casual, local spot for burgers and wings!After living in Castle Pines, for a few years we finally dropped in to try berg haus. On this evening, it was fairly empty, however, it can get pretty packed on the weekends, or sporting events. The server was very friendly, and communicated to us that they had some items missing off the menu. Not a big problem, and we will be back to try some more later. We had burgers and wings, and everything was good. Nothing was spectacular, but nothing was bad either.We enjoyed the Prost beer selection. The restaurant itself was had plenty of TVs to watch sports, and the music was fairly loud. so I don’t recommend if you want to have a quiet conversation, but it is a great place to meet up with friends. We will be back again, and it won’t be a couple years!

We have tried going here for drinks a few times and both times we were ignored both times. Second time we were sitting at the bar and there were only a few other people at the bar. We waiting over ten minutes when another man came in sat down and the bartender helped him immediately. After that, we waited 5 more minutes and walked out. Not impressed with this place.
