Chocklo Restaurant

This has just become my favorite local restaurant. I am going to make a habit of coming back here! The food is fresh, so delicious, good portioned, looks beautiful, and made right in front of you with care. There is latin american food from a variety of places which the menu highlights, and there is something for everyone. This small family run business deserves some attention!

Heading from Denver to Pueblo we wanted to grab something quick for lunch. I didn't want something typical like a sandwich and saw chocklo on our route. What a great find! So flavorful and delicious. Came here for dinner and had to study the menu a little bit to figure out what to get! Am not as familiar with Latin street food so we didn’t know what to expect. Got the arepa paisa and desgranado. The meats were so good and the sauces just made the dishes. The portion was the perfect size too. Can’t wait to go back and try more! The restaurant is small. There were places to sit on a Thursday night at 6 but even then it started to fill up.
