No... this is a negative. Too bad, I need a good bbq place and I am only 25 minutes from here. Poor upkeep. Only 1 person in entire restaurant. Food was frozen and reheated. Poor meats, the sauce cups were very small and I wanted to try all 4 flavors but I get two and thats it... no exceptions. Wow. At least I only learned a $30 lesson instead of taking my work group here or having something catered.

I went here when I visited the Rocky Mountains, and it seriously delivered. I ordered the Heart Attack, which was extremely indulgent, flavorful, and filling. I asked to replace the coleslaw with other greens and they were happy to help. Absolutely worth a try if you're in the area.

Used to go here relatively regularly, hadn't been in a while. They were out of half the menu items, ended up ordering something I didn't really want as a result. Out of rice and beans as well, not sure how that is possible. Then we got a bit rushed out to close the bill. Will not be going back unfortunately as I used to really like this place. Probably will go out of business soon anyway if my experience is the standard.

I placed our dinner order of (1)smoked wings, (2)fish & chips and macaroni & cheese at 5:30PM. The macaroni & cheese had green Chile on top - this was for my young daughter - she would not eat it. The fish & chips were soggy and came with sweet potato fries, this was also unacceptable. The smoked wings were cold and HARD, yes hard, probably over cooked and then sat for a while. The order arrived at 7:05 and since the restaurant closes at 7 there was no way to try to correct my order.This was a dinner order for me and my children - none of us ate the food. I'm out $90 and had to cook dinner for 4 hungry, impatient people anyway. This was not the first time Smokin Dave's messed up my delivery, but it is definitely the last.

Ordered the 3 meat platter. Ribs were a bit chewy, def not fall off the bone. Same with the brisket. Had side of sweet potato fries which were over cooked and crispy thru the middle, burned on the ends if you like that sort of thing. Hey, it isn't bacon. We had the place to ourselves except for the waitress and I suppose a cook(who knows). I read the histort blurb on the newspaper type menu before the food arrived and, who knows, maybe my expectations were a bit high. After all, it was edible.

I REALLY HATE leaving this review. This has been one of our favorite restaurants. We love their food and until tonight their service has been excellent. We have recommended this place to many, many family and friends.Since Covid, my husband and I go to restaurants early, before crowds. He and I are immuno compromised. Today, I had a chemo treatment all day. I was exhausted and hungry. Didn’t feel like cooking so we decided on Smokin Dave’s chicken fried steak.When we arrived, there was one other customer. We like sitting in half booths, half tables. I’m much more comfortable in a booth but my husband doesn’t fit in booths. The section where the two half booths half tables was closed. We asked if they would please open it, that we would be gone before their rush.I explained that it had been a long day of chemo for me. She was a new server that we did not recognize. The server said no. We then asked to speak with the manager who recognized us as regulars, he also said no. I explained that I just got out of chemo and really wanted to be as comfortable as possible, and said we would tip the server extra for walking a few extra steps( we are already excellent tippers especially since Covid because we feel so bad for servers. He still said no.We left and went to a restaurant down the street where they gladly accommodated our request. I feel bad for the owner, they have no idea the customers are being treated so badly. We will never be back. The place was empty, you would think they would appreciate the customers they do have. Very sad.

They don't tell you that they won't seat you for a certain amount of time before they close which is not listed anywhere. Where I can't wait until I can try their food I just can't try it now and I wasted 25 minutes driving here... Maybe if I could actually try some of their food I will raise the rating but until then hopefully they can add their actual times of business that I can go sit down and eat. It is disappointing to me.

Came in for dinner tonight, first time at this location. Dinner was great, tasty and portions were large. We tried the location in Lyons and loved it, so we were excited to try this location out. So happy to have this location right down the road from us now. Our server Alex was fantastic with our large party. Will definitely be back again.

This is pretty much the best franchise BBQ I've ever had. It definitely blows Brother's BBQ out of the water. The ribs and chicken were super juicy and full of flavor (almost too much as I got a few bites of straight rib rub, but better too much than not enough). The double platter came with so much meat it was a struggle to finish and less than $20. The only thing that was a bit lame was the cornbread. Service was fast and friendly.
Can I ever get enough BBQ? Apparently not! Here for a work lunch. For as big as the building looks, the inside space is considerably smaller, but it's a nice set up. Super clean and comfortable. They have reduced days they are open due to the staffing/hospitality situation. BUT...our experience here was not lacking. They have a great menu and great food. Only saw one server, but our service was attentive and solid. Apparently they have an all you can eat rib special for Wednesdays, that I don't know if it was only for lunch but is worth checking out. Our crew went with the platters. Everything was quality. The onion ring appetizer was fantastic, and I'm not a huge onion ring person, but these were large, crisp, perfection with their BBQ ranch sauce. They had several quality side options and do a great job with the collard greens. Another ++ in my book is a selection of sauces, all tasty, and good compliments to the meat.

Our waitress was great - nothing else was. I ordered the rib and chicken platter. The chicken was dry and the ribs were old - both were covered in barbeque sauce - probably the fact that the food was old. There was also someone shouting to the kitchen staff from the edge of the dining area the entire time we were eating. I emailed the "company" and received an apology -"we're training a new kitchen staff" ...better luck next time. Sorry but there won't be a next time. Business is tough these days. Good luck!

If you’ve ever eaten at Nordys then don’t eat here you will be disappointed! Cornbread has no flavor, Buffalo ribs looked so scary I couldn’t even get myself to put them in my mouth, Mac and cheese had a funny after taste. The only reason I gave a 2 star is because the pork ribs were half way decent and the sweet tea was out of this world.Response: Hello Chelsea I would reply to you on the review a different way if I was able to find one. I’m thinking you must have me mixed up with the other table of the only other people in the place because I absolutely did not call my meal amazing nor did I take anything home with me. In fact the only thing I left with was the worst case of heartburn in my life! I’m sorry you don’t like my review but it’s only my opinion. I wish you the best.

Amazing Wednesday special all you can eat ribs!!!!! They start you with a half rack and 2 sides and keep em commimg!!!!! Maddy was our server and she was super attentive. Amazing sauces and sides. Will definitely be back every Wednesday for the remainder of the special! Averaging 2 racks per visit!!!!! Can't beat that for 20$!
