My husband and I came for the happy hour specials before our Italian Steakhouse cooking class. The atmosphere is so pretty- I love all the glass and the view, and the fun modern chandeliers. Our initial server was really nice, and made some great wine recommendations. We had the pork belly tacos, but they were a little sweet for us- the tortilla tasted like bubblegum and I would have liked some balance to the flavor. The server who took over for our first gentleman didn't seem to know what she was doing- she told us they would come get us for the class (not true) and when we asked for the bill she forgot to bring it. That was a little frustrating, but we got it handled and got to class on time. The class itself was super fun- I feel like we learned so much that we didn't know before! Our menu included shrimp diavolo, steak with fingerling potatoes and broccoli, and berries with a marscapone cream. The shrimp diavolo was so good, and definitely something we are going to try at home. The steak and it's sides were good, although I think it would have been good if we had some temperature gauges and a print out of what temp the steaks could cook at- my husband was a little disappointed that his steak was underdone, and he was too embarrassed to put it back on the stove for a minute. Basically the class would have been better if there has been some paper instructions or labels to refer to- we had the ingredients for all the dishes in various bowls on trays, but class moved fast and it was easy to mix up what ingredients go where. The best part of class was absolutely Chef Ken- he was the perfect mix of sardonic, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was very patient with all of us, even as the evening wore on and the alcohol flowed. Our favorite cocktail was the sangria. We also had the cucumber drink and the cherry blossom, but didn't care for those. Every wine we tried was really good though, and we loved the red wine that came with the class. Class ended at 9:10, and then we could finish our wine at the bar. Miguel, the gentleman running the bar was so friendly and sweet- we really appreciated his willingness to chat and his patience while we finished our drinks and conversations. We never felt rushed and that was nice.Overall, we enjoyed our experience and if there was another special event that lined up with their calendar, I would be willing to do a class again.

I booked a cooking class (2 months ago for 3 people) for 6 pm on April 13th. At 2:30 pm on April 13th (yes, the day of) I received a phone call saying the class moved to 2 pm (yes, they called after the moved class started) but they were just realizing they failed to inform anyone. Then I was told it would take 7-10 business days to refund my money (It literally took 1 day for you to take it). When I asked why so long, Sunshine told me "I can't control the bank". You obviously can't control your business, either. If that's the way you do business, I'm glad we didn't go.Edit -- on 4/17, co-owner Katie contacted me via email and offered another class at no charge to make up for this mistake. My friends and I are booked again for late June. Stay tuned for a thorough review of the experience!

We took a family cooking class and it was the most fun! My 8 year old loved making the treats and tried things she hadn’t had before. I will definitely take a class from them again.Kid-friendliness: Our teacher was so great with kids.

I was very unhappy with my most recent experience with Uncorked Kitchen. My wife and I had attended uncorked kitchen a long time ago and had a blast with the couples around us, the chef, and the food. This experience was very different. The chef "K. Potter" was incredibly disorganized, rude, not a good teacher, and destroyed what should have been a fun evening. They ran out of shallots for one of our dishes, which isn't a big deal but when we pay $300+ for ingredients worth $50-$70, I'd hope they have that all aligned. We were told to stop doing things and I, or others, had to remind the chef of other tasks we had to complete before we, as an example, retired our knives and cutting board. He did a poor job of distilling small aspects such as the ideal temperature for some dishes. At other times he was completely contradictory about instructions from one moment to the next. The worst was, we were cooking a simple cream sauce after finishing the steaks. We add oil, throw the shallots in, and cook them as instructed. The chef disappears. The assistant chef steps in as we finish cooking the onions, and we ask for the next step. We are told to put the butter in, which we do. After all of our butter melts the chef suddenly arrives, starts asking people to put the cream in, sees our butter has melted and I am not joking this is his response..."NOOOOOO! NOOOOOO! NOOOOOO! DO NOT PUT THE BUTTER IN. You put the cream in first, not the butter! You do not put the butter in! What are you people doing!" The screaming and berating continued, not allowing me to say your assistant chef told us to do that as he pivots to the rest of the class. Afterward, as we are eating he has the gall to say, "well if you don't like your food, you only have yourself to blame." It wasn't the comment per se but a complete lack of integrity and accountability for he and his staffs miscommunication.Honestly, I've cooked better meals at home for a lot less, and none involved drama or abuse heh. Sadly, we won't be returning to uncorked kitchen after this experience and it's a shame, it's a fun idea, but also incredibly linked to the chef you will be working with. In our case it was not a fun night and it wasn't even close to being worth the money, we ordered the reserve wine so it was over $400. For that price point, we could have gone to a top end dinner, would have been treated like kings and queens, and not have been abused by an unhinged instructor. In general, my advice would be to either save your money, order a private chef for a more intimate and dedicated experience, or go to a top end restaurant and cut out the work.

I have been wanting to come here for a long time. Could not have been more blown away with my Experience. The ambience alone makes this place amazing. I happen to go on a night with live music and it was incredible. The food cooked by Chef Kristine is also the general manager, and she is absolutely amazing! She Personally brought the dishes to our table and made me feel as I was part of the family. You could tell she had passion for the food she was bringing to you and has the absolute best Chicken Mole that you must try! The absolute best part that had to be Jake H. and absolute stellar service. A level 2 Sommelier, with incredible wine knowledge background and A professional bartender , making one of the best smoke old-fashioned I’ve ever had. I am absolutely looking forward to the next time, no need to Final think this is the place to be!

It was ok. They didn't do as much as I expected. Kinda disappointed but ok. . . Overall, I don't know if it's worth it.

Absolutely amazing first-time experience at Uncorked! Celebrated my wife’s birthday by attending Uncorked’s “Baracchi Wine and Italian” cooking class. Top notch service, instruction, environment and most importantly, food and wine!!! Spent 4 hours prepping 5 different courses all the while sampling amazing Italian wines poured by the charismatic winemaker himself, Benedetto Baracchi. We loved his interaction and stories about his life’s passion and got him to sign the bottles we bought to bring home with us. Cannot forget to mention how awesome our chef instructors were. So fun and talented, and we left feeling far more capable in the kitchen. 10/10 experience, and my wife cannot stop talking about how amazing this experience was for her birthday. We will be back!

The 3 hours fly by and along the way we learned so much and eat some amazing food.Chef Jerry and Chef Joel were very down to Earth and made the experience informative yet laid back. They wanted to share their knowledge and were more than willing to lend some encouraging advice and answer any questions.Overall the experience was very organized and enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone wanting a fun and unique date night with your partner.

My partner and I recently did one of their Date Night classes, Christmas in Tuscany, on a Thursday night. No complaints or critiques from us; we thoroughly enjoyed the class. My partner, who is not a huge fan of cooking, left being super excited about the experience. The set up was perfect for everyone to feel engaged, instructions were clear, and it did not feel like an overwhelming experience. We look forward to trying some of their other events, or even just stopping by the wine bar. Thanks for having us!

Wow! We had an office Xmas party here and the staff, the food, ambiance, and the views were incredible. ?Shoutout to the bar staff - including Jeff who went above and beyond for each guest; engaging, friendly, and finding teas and coffees and mixing unique speciality drinks ???. Whoever hired Jeff needs to give him a raise!

My wife's company had their holiday party here and I was really impressed with the level of service and care from the restaurant's team. Christina went out of her way to make sure I felt taken care of because of some food restrictions that I had. She went above and beyond and made me feel extremely comfortable the entire evening and I never had to worry about anything. She tailored meals to my preferences and was checking on me the entire night even though I told her not to worry. This was the best experience I've had at any restaurant and I wish there were more chefs / operators like her, she's amazing! Thank you!
