Been to TWP Winery many times. We went there when they were just beginning to open.Their wine is great. I would always recommend a tasting with the charcuterie board.Their service is great, and the owners : Shari & Edwin are absolutely wonderful, I love them.I promote this winery always. I have taken many friends & family there.

My boyfriend and I will frequently visit TWP winery! It is a beautiful location, the views are amazing and Shari and Edwin are such wonderful hosts! We love relaxing on the patio, always enjoy watching the peacocks, goats and sheep! And of course the wine, amazing! Highly recommend a visit to TWP!

Once the owner got my credit card number on file she went from the nicest person I’ve ever spoken to, to the rudest person I’ve spoken to. She told me on the phone “we’ll be here for anything you need and we are so so excited to host you”…. They ended up going out of town, not prepping the place correctly for us, and were extremely difficult to get a hold of or get actual answers. They also have a dog there that they let roam freely that the husband told us on the day we left, that it had bitten almost everyone there, him, the wine maker, their friends etc. he said “yea we have a real problem with him”…. But they let it roam freely around the guests. He would bark at us in attack mode when we came back to the house, and growled at me when I came into the kitchen and living room. In the end she ended up charging us for wines we did not drink as well as basically accusing us of stealing. I sent texts to the fraud department and my credit card. When we got there I just politely asked for the WiFi password and her response is “it’s on the cards all around the inn” instead of just giving me the password. This alone I would’ve thought nothing of until we tried to get a hold of her for other things and couldn’t get responses for over 3 hours. They left so quickly they forgot to leave the welcome instructions for everything they had available, as well as left all the wine cabinets empty. So we couldn’t even get WINE at the winery we stayed at and went and got wine at the grocery store. When I asked her how we can purchase wine, she didn’t respond for over 3 hours and responded with “we can restock?” Which was not only rude but still didn’t tell me how we get wine from them. Especially since they were hours away…They blamed previous guests for wine not being available, they blamed their drive out of town for their lack of communication, they blamed the winemaker for over charging us. All in all this woman ruined this amazing trip and experience I had planned for our 5 year anniversary and we won’t be back.

To start, Palisade, Colorado is a hidden gem for dozens of wineries in the state. TWP stands out specifically for their more upscale, wine selection, and beautiful grounds. They are a little tricky to find, but if you route using your maps, the turn off will be easily identifiable. There are plenty of seating areas outside and it's tucked away so you don't get a lot of road noise. My friends and I did a bike tour of Palisade and came here for a glass. The road leading up to the building is gravel so something to be aware of if you do the same. Although it was evident, we were not wine connoisseurs upon arriving, the server was helpful in helping us select a bottle and describing the different options they had to choose from. The labels on their bottles are also a partnership with an artist, and our fantastic in and of themselves. Not a budget winery for sure, but definitely a great place to stop.

I stopped by TWP today for a big 5 tasting. It was honestly so worth it and so enjoyable! Shari and Edwin were fantastic! Sheri was quick to introduce herself when I walked in and talked to me like a friend and was super personable. Edwin was full of wine knowledge. The charcuterie board that Sheri put together was honestly 5 star worthy. There was a wide assortment of various cheeses, chocolates, meats and crackers. And the thought process of the products on the board were truly great. I especially enjoyed the Tempranillo. I almost bought a bottle but was nervous about leaving it in my hot car and having it spoil. I also toured the grounds of the house for rent and had the pleasure of seeing 5 peacocks which was so unexpected! I would definitely return.

My husband and I recently got married at TWP Winery and Farmhouse and we have only amazing things to stay about not only the tasting room, but the Plaas Huis and Shari and Edwin’s top notch hospitality. The wine is absolutely delicious, and the experience we’ve had doing their wine tastings are the best I’ve ever had! I cannot recommend this winery enough!

Went for a wine tasting with friends who frequent this spot. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I'm not much of a wine drinker so the wine and food pairing experience was new for me. Lots of different meats, cheeses, chocolates to try with the different wines. It was definitely a fun group experience!

What a lovely find on a recent visit to CO. Lovely setting, good wine, outstanding charcuterie and the most gracious hosts. Highly recommend and will absolutely return.

This is true definition of a hidden gem as nobody can find the road to the winery and maps apps were lost as well. But do take the little side dirt road to the left of the bridge to find the amazing winery with TWP. Beautiful property and amazing service. The wines were great but the snacks were even better. The wine tasting comes with a small charcuterie board that was really yummy. We especially love the pickled olive that Shari created herself with tangerines.... we had a few favorite wines here but the board was really what we remembered from TWP... we'll be back when we're back in town again but highly recommend to try out TWP if you're in town.

One of my best winery experiences anywhere in the world! The location, scenery, wine, charcuterie and service was all five stars. My boyfriend is vegan and they were very accommodating to his dietary restrictions and even had some vegan cheese and chocolate options which we did not expect to get !

This place was a dream come true! We stayed at the house and all I can say is WOW! They have amazing wine, a hot tub, pickle ball, paddle boards, tire swing, peacocks and goats! We stayed here for my bachelorette party and the hosts were 10/10 with their hospitality. I can't say enough great things about this property and hosts!

Easily one of my favorite wineries in Palisade!! The touch of getting a paired charcuterie board with your wine tasting is the best touch. Hands down the best charcuterie board you'll ever have. The owners are amazing and make you feel like family. The ambiance is stellar and the service is amazing. A definite must visit will in palisade!

Really great wine and charcuterie pairings. The Mourvèdre and rosé were both excellent. I’d be happy to visit again anytime.
