1st time I had eaten at a Mediterranean restaurant. I ordered the Persian chicken with Walnut sauce. The chicken was so tender and delicious. My guy ordered Moussaka. It was a lamb and beef dish kinda like a Shepards pie. I thought it was tasty, although I think the Cinnamon & Nutmeg was a bit much for him. For dessert I chose the Limoncello Mascarpone. It was so good. All in all it was a very nice experience. Glad we chose to eat there.

we arrived fairly early on a saturday evening and were seated right away. we were not familiar with their wines but our hostess brought several samples for us to try and we settled on a rioja. we had the sanbouset appetizer which wabs very good. they have two lamb tangines on the menu so i ordered one and my son the other. my wife ordered the chicken kabob. they were all three delicious and the quantities were very generous. i forgot to mention they brought out some freshly baked bread which was very good as well. we shared a dessert which was very good. as an aside they had a dancer performing in the restaurant as well. the food was very good, service was great, and the prices were fair for the quantity and quality of the food we had

Worst “Authentic Mediterranean” dinner I ever had. I ordered a shrimp kabob (audacity to say this was a special order not a substitute) and charged me $30 for shrimp on rice with onion. Tell the chef to check what a kabob is. This restaurant is a joke. Ordered a Greek Farm salad. Ha! Romain lettuce some olives and a tablespoon of feta from a package. Total loss. Change the menu or change what they call a chef.

Always enjoy the food and atmosphere here, seems we don't get down here frequently enough. We sort of stopped by on short notice, and we should have called ahead to see if we could get a reservation, but they managed to get us in after a short wait even without a reservation. We stopped by on a night where they had a belly dancer which is always a fun add on to the dinner experience. We plan on trying to come more often as the food is always excellent.

The Caspian cafe did not disappoint ,We had the spanakopita for an appetizer, lamb/beef kabobs and Moroccan chicken for main courses and the baklava for dessert . Every dish was delicious . Our waiter was very friendly and helpful . The place was very clean but a little dated decor-wise. Definitely would recommend.

My wIfe and I were looking forward to eating at this restaurant after reading all of the glowing reviews. The food was overpriced. The Spanikopita was ok as was the Haloumi appetizer. The Gyro platter was underwhelming for the $23.95 price. The portion of tzatziki sauce, about 2 oz, was nowhere near enough for the amount of dried up and overcooked Gyro meat and dried and tasteless pita slices. I requested some extra, not realizing until I got the check, that I would be charged another $2.79 for another small portion. When I mentioned this to the server, she apologized for not letting me know that there would be an extra charge, and rather than bringing my objection to management, she offered to pay for it herself, which I refused. She never did ask how the platter was, even after seeing that we didn’t finish eating it and leaving the burned looking pieces on the plate. I cannot believe the excellent reviews this place gets. I have been eating in Greek restaurants for years and have eaten gyro platters from Alexandria, VA, to NYC, to Boulder CO, and all have been excellent. This was absolutely the pits. The server was very friendly and the Retsina was good even though I was charged $1.00 more than the menu price. Very disappointing

We wanted to visit Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and eat dinner before travelling on to Alamosa. This was a great meal conveniently located at the Garden of the Gods exit. From the Feta Crisp appetizers to Kabob plate meal to the Caspitan Mojito drinks, this was a great and tasty meal. Our entire group enjoyed and it was the best way to start our trip right. Again this was another great find from Tripadvisor.

Exceptional customer service! The staff exceeded every expectation. My wife has a gluten and dairy issue and they went above and beyond to make the dishes perfect for her. I asked if they had any ciders (which unfortunately they do not) but the manager was so kind to go out locally and get some, brought it back and served it with a cold glass! Amazing.

Oh my goodness! What a lovely meal! My friend and myself both ordered the Lamb Tagine with Apricots and Almonds and it was wonderful! We split a full salad, which was also excellent and ended up taking half of our lunch home! The portions are huge AND delicious! I definitely plan on returning, for there are quite a few entree’ that sounds great and desserts that are calling my name, like the Limoncello Mascarpone and the Baklava! If you like Greek, or Mediterranean food, this place is a must. Also, our server was excellent!

Picked another winner with the Caspian Cafe in Colorado Springs! My wife and I traveled to Greece and when we travel to cities across the US we try an find Greek, Middle Eastern And Peruvian Food! Here we picked Greek Food and not disappointed! From the Greek wine, to the shared mussels, I chose Lamb Tagine with fava beans and artichokes and my wife picked Citrus baked salmon with shrimp which all was extremely tasty! We finished our meal with a piece of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake! All the items were exceptional and so was the service! We were there in Friday night and they happen to have a belly dancer that was very entertaining! Great meal and restaurant!

The title says it all. A bit pricey, but everyone in our family loved what they ordered. They were also very accommodating to the Vegan in our group. Very unique recipes and flavors!

I really surprised my wife when I suggested we have dinner here, and I'm proud of myself for my idea! Our server Cora greated us warmly and sat us promptly. She was more than happy to answer our questions, since neither of us knew much about Mediterranean cuisine. We began with the Spanakopita appetizer, delicious, then entrees of Persian Chicken and the Gyro Platter. OMG, the Persian Chicken was amazingly tender and the rich flavors were a delightful explosion to our taste buds. Gyro Platter was also fabulous! We were stuffed completely, but dessert offered Baklava, which we both new about. We knew we wanted the Baklava , so we took it to go along with the yummy Limoncello Mascarpone cake. More delicious explosions in our mouth the next day. We highly recommend the Caspian Cafe, and thank you a lot Cora for making our dinner experience a pure joy. As we left the chef (maybe owner) checked in with us...it's that personal interaction that means a lot to us... Thank you again!

We were impressed with the menu offerings and chose 3 different meals that all were excellent. The portions were substantial and just delicious. The Moussaka was notably fantastic. The server was helpful and knew the menu and made useful suggestions. The price was in line with the quality. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Our family of 4 dined here. Service was great and food was excellent. We ordered appetizers, dinner and dessert. All dishes were very good! Portions were large. Favorites were the prime rib, Moussaka and the lemon marscapone cake. Definitely recommend!

Updated a week later. Never got a return call as promised. Don’t come here!! They don’t go here. Food wasn’t good. Extremely over priced, compared to a everywhere else I’ve ate at in my life. For half the cost. With way better taste and quality food. Go to Sultan Grill in Arvada,CO. You’ll see.Overall: inside the area was very dark couldn’t see anything really, as it was very sunny and bright outside. (Extremely dark inside). They literally had to turn on some lights for us. Staff was extremely friendly, personable, attending to our needs. Have no complaints there. My wife and I had plans to go shopping afterwards. Which, we were not able to. Since we got very sick. Their service was fantastic. . . Not the greatest mediterranean food. It’s not authentic at all. Period. It has a twist splash style, more American than anything. I’ve been to tons of more authentic places then this out in Denver for years. There’s two dozen, I can list off the top of my head. It’s just not as classy inside as the others. But if your looking for odd style food, great service and very dark romantic atmosphere, with old uncomfortable seating. Come here… Our experience afterwards: However, unfortunately we both got sick. I called them to briefly, express we weren’t feeling well. She stated there not sure what they could do. Promised me, that the manager would be calling me back. That never happened. Spent a lot over priced, for not good food at all. Might look pretty but tastes strange… it’ll hurt your stomach. I won’t be returning, sadly to say!!I hope this review brings others aware!! Very disappointed!! Don’t come here!! Total waste of money for overpriced food. Wasn’t very good.
