My wife and I used to live in Haiti and loved fried plantains and goat. We've missed it for a long time. Tonight's dinner did not fail in taking us back to the Caribbean! The only thing missing was the humidity and music.

So, I ordered at 6:45 pm. I know they close at 8, but I thought that wasn't too late to order. The dude literally put cold chicken in a styrofoam container and handed it to me. I got the chicken and ox tails, so the containers were put in plastic. It seemed barely warm, but I didn't think to check it before I left. I only drove 5 minutes down the road and the food was cold cold. All of it. The flavor of the meat seemed okay. The cabbage had no seasoning. The rice and peas tasted like it sat out since they opened that morning. Unfortunately, really disappointed.
Good food. The oxtails were delicious. Next time I'll have to try the cabbage.

The curry chicken was tasty, but the cabbage was absolutely awesome. Came in towards the end of the night and the burners were turned off. Food was a little cold, but I see that as properly cooling before putting it in the walk-in. I would definitely recommend this place.
I would not recommend this place if your a service member and easily triggered. Terrible experience. The owner is rude and the food wasn't that great either. I walked in asked about the special. I have never been to a Jamaican restaurant and had fried chicken. So I asked " does the fried chicken have a Jamaican seasoning that makes it different from regular fried chicken? " " he responds I don't know what you think?". I ordered the j*** chicken due to that answer. The chicken was cold, the rice and beans was bland. Don't waste your money, but if you do eat it be prepared for a crazy answer if you deviat from what he deems a bad question. Read some of the other reviews this is how he is.

Ima jus say this: I went to my uncles house while I was out there visiting & we could smell curry as we were approaching his house. This spot didn’t have no smell of flavor coming from it at all. And if I would’ve known that they had to put my food in a microwave to heat it back up I wouldn’t have placed an order at all. Food didn’t have no real flavor to it, ok at best plus it’s in a weird spot, you’ll miss it if you blink….just save ya money for a better restaurant while your out there

The jamaican food here is sooooo good!! I got the J*** chicken rice nd peas w plantains, just wish they had Mac n cheese! Nothing better than some good Soul food!!!
