It is closed now. I know one reason is they could not find waitstaff. We enjoyed going for taco Tuesday but sometime the chips were over done and every week the tacos were different. So we kinda quit going.

They are closed for good per the owner in a TV interview. The food had gone downhill over the last several months and customers stop coming to this location. Closed it on the 14th of January.

Great Service. Great Food. Excellent Timing on food. Highly recommend. It's a Shame that this Location Closed. The Atmosphere was Excellent, the Food was Great and the Staff were Professional, Friendly and Efficient. I would go here nearly once a Month with My Mom. And was also a Favorite when My Dad comes to Town.

The wait staff and bartender were super nice and attentive. Go for the margarita not the food. The food was horrible. I ordered the carna asada it had a funky taste and smell. My husband said his burrito tasted like a gas station frozen burrito. Wish the table and menus were cleaner. Not going back there.

Authentic Tex-Mex Flavors in the Heart of Colorado Having grown up in Texas, where great queso and Mexican food are a way of life, I set high expectations. My search for the best Mexican restaurant in Colorado ended when I discovered Jose Muldoon's, a gem that authentically embodies the richness of Tex-Mex flavors in the heart of Colorado. Queso Experience: As a Texan, I hold queso to a particularly high standard, and this dish exceeded all expectations. I can confidently say that this queso rivals even the best I've had back in Texas. Authenticity and Flavor: The attention to detail in the preparation of each dish reflects a commitment to preserving the authenticity of Tex-Mex cuisine. It's clear that the chefs at Jose Muldoon's understand the importance of using traditional recipes and fresh, high-quality ingredients to deliver an experience that is both deeply satisfying and true to its roots. Ambiance and Service: The vibrant decor, lively music, and friendly staff create the atmosphere. The attentive and knowledgeable server we had (Tyler) contributed to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.

Everything is smaller, and more expensive as most people know.Seems to be the trend everywhere.

Honestly, wasn't the worst I've had but the food wasn't fresh or worth the cost. Margarita tasted like it was Gatorade mixed with salt and table salsa tasted like it was out of a can. Shrimp tacos were tender but not flavorful and burrito was under seasoned (though the shredded pork was also tender). Tortillas and chips also tasted like they were out of a bag and not made fresh (or even heated thoroughly). It was like they took good Mexican food froze it for a few months and reheated it in a skillet.Service was good but the place being 90% empty on a Friday night and making us wait 10 minutes to be seated was a bit odd.I'll come back if someone else is paying for my food. But I'm good otherwise.

Been years since I've eaten at Muldoon's, but that was at the downtown location. East side location was great. Nice classic Mexican restaurant design inside. And other than the red sauce being a bit salty, everything was perfect.

Had the taco salad with pork big serving not all that tasty. My girlfriend had the Pasole she was not a fan she asked for no raw onions came out with raw onions on it. They fixed it but was told it was very good made in house but that wasn't the case.
