The cake shop that has delicious treats and goes above and beyond, way beyond! I ordered a birthday cake for my mom and it was the best we have ever had. Nice fluffy cake, not dry at all, the filling was plentiful and the frosting was to die for! We have tried a lot of the area cake shops and this is the best, by far. Kris and Nikki were fabulous. It was a very snowy day and Nikki was actually out on her breaks delivering cakes to customers so they didn't have to brave the snowy roads. You just can't beat the taste or customer service, anywhere. Nikki even let me change the colors at the last moment. Thank you all for making 80 so stupendous!

Based on previous experience with this establishment we ordered a cake for a very important occasion, our parents 50th anniversary. However, I cannot stress enough, this bakery is living off of a legend of the past and is doing nothing but false advertising!!!The pictures on their website are from the previous owners, this is not what you can expect to receive today. Our cake was supposed to be a beautiful cream cake with a gold metallic drip, ready to host a 50th anniversary marker. What we received was a dismal cake, with an uneven top, amateur flowers piped around the edge covering what can only be described as runny Smuckers looking caramel. There was no shimmer, no metallic effect, only fools gold that made the cake appear as if it emerged from a horror movie.Cutting into the cake took too much effort, especially for such an expensive and important cake. The outside was covered in enough fondant to protect it from bullets, an obvious and tragic attempt to cover up the awful bitter taste of a dry spongy cake. What was supposed to be a beautifully light almond cake with fresh fruit purée between the layers was a dense, spongy chemical concoction that was held together with artificial fruit gel that almost glowed in the dark.Even if I were starving I would not eat this cake.I would do less than zero stars for this bakery. Sadly, the tasty treats they used to deliver are simply memories.See the pictures below showing the advertised and promised cake and, sadly, the subsequent pictures of what was delivered instead… (note the dent in the top they spackled over with frosting, see the caramel “mucus” that was supposed to be gold metallic cascading down the side). We managed to save the day, luckily, by grabbing a Chantilly cake from Whole Foods, which used real fruit filling and a gentle amount of frosting to cover a moist, light and delicious cake texture…If you have an important event, LOOK ELSEWHERE! They cannot bake here, and your event’s centerpiece will leave a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth.

Disappointing. We have purchased cakes from here for special occasions over the last 8 years. This is the last time. Not only does the cake look nothing like I requested, the customer service and communication is awful. I do not recommend.Take your business elsewhere.1. You cannot access them directly via phone. A few issues: no one answers the phone and the voicemail box is full.2. Email communication was unprofessional in the ordering process, which I just let slide but it should have been a warning of what’s to come.3. My pick up time was amidst a snow storm and I needed to change from flesh flowers (which they asked ME) to deliver to fondant or buttercream flowers. I emailed 2 days prior about the change due to the storm approaching and not being able to deliver flowers. I never received a reply to that email or a curtesy call. I call to confirm that pick up was still on and was unable to leave a message due to the full voicemail. I sent two emails and finally was ASKED to pick up within thirty minutes. Upon arrival, no one was there. I called numerous times and no one picked up. Finally, I spoke to someone who said someone would arrive in 3 minutes. 15 minutes later, she showed up and I received not a gold topped cake I requested but a very sloppy cake. It is horrible and not what I requested for my parents 50th anniversary.Do not use this bakery. This was a huge mistake.Below: the requested cake (with real flowers that they do NOT provide). We asked for white buttercream instead of the pink and to adjust to fondant or buttercream flowers when we were unable to deliver desired flowers. We received a yellow sparkle drip and a sloppy flower creation, which is lackluster for a 50th Anniversary.Do NOT use this shop.

Meant to post my review a while back but never got the chance to. I got a specialize cake made for my baby shower and it was delicious and amazing. Love it, love it! Definitely will come back to this place.

First, I read that this bakery is under new management. So this review is for the Fall of 2023. I ordered a cake and 12 cupcakes for my son's bday. I was so disappointed and will never buy from them again. The art/design was cute, but the cake/cupcakes were burnt. They were dry and tasted awful. I asked for whipped cream and strawberry filling. I got a yellow cake with strawberry pie filling (thick gelatin-like) in the middle. No cream. Most of the kids at the party didn't even finish their cupcakes. We threw the remaining cake in the garbage. It wasn't edible. Total waste of money. Besides the cakes, they never answer the phone, and the store hours are ridiculous. They are supposed to close at 4 pm, but on two separate occasions, I got a call one hour before saying they "were closing early today and I needed to come get my cakes." I ended up having to reschedule because I could not make it. It was inconvenient for me when planning a party. I understand if there is an emergency, but this happened twice within two weeks. Most people cannot get up and leave their jobs in the middle of the day. If the store hours are 9-4 pm, they should be open during those times. Closing at 4 pm is difficult enough to manage for working people. I rarely write bad reviews unless it is just awful. Little London Cake Shoppe is just that!

I was in Canada considering ideas for a birthday cake for 20, in 1 week. We started calling Wednesday, and discovered a week's notice is preferred, and some bakeries already closed Thanksgiving thru Sunday. I found Little London on Friday 11-24, and Nikki answered the phone! and said they could make it before closing at noon Saturday! I ordered a 10" round dbl. chocolate cake for 20, with buttercream, decorated top & sides, like one of their many photos. And they delivered as promised! Ppl. noticed it was a gigantic cake - more than enough for 20... so moist & rich... and delicious! So Many Thanks Little London!

We had a 10 year milestone party for my mom celebrating the survival of her pulmonary embolism! Little London Cake Shoppe provided the most delicious and gorgeous cake, but most of all were incredibly wonderful and pleasant to work with. Everyone at the party was asking where it came from, and I was able to pass out there provided business cards. I will definitely be doing business again with them
