This is one of those little hidden gems that is likely kept afloat by locals, word of mouth, and seriously good food. Try their platters for two. Mariscos Altamar not only brings the flavor, but they do so at a value. This is one of the last GREAT yet AFFORDABLE places where a couple, or a small family can still get SERIOUS bang for their collective bucks.
10/21/2023. Normally, we love this place but two of the service today were not great. They were a little standoffish and slightly rude when we came in. We actually considered asking for a new server today. As for the food, so good. They give a ton so, two people could share one plate. The prep oysters are delicious. Today we tried the seafood platter and YUM! We normally have excellent service so I had taking away a star.

Came across this place by accident. Glad we did. Food very flavorful. Beer cold. We had grilled fish tacos and burritos. Carne asada burrito and aguachile. Everything was tasty and fresh. Highly recommend!!
