We thought we were going to Mason Jar. A favorite spot to visit when in Colorado Springs. I guess the taproom took them over. They said they kept the same menu and recipes. Did not taste the same. Start off you order at a counter then seat yourself and they bring out your food. Food was mediocre at best. Chicken is only served on Thursdays, so don't expect it on Monday like we did. Sad to see the Mason Jar close.

Such a fun place! Loved the self serve drinks, the pizza was delicious! You pay per ounce for the drinks so you can try many !

I had the salmon it was alright the green beans were really good and the cole slaw was really tasty! My fiance had the steak which he said was delicious! He also had the green beans and mashed potatoes both of which he said were very good. I noticed they have lots of selection of beers and wines on tap. I'm not a beer or wine drinker so I didn't try anything. They give you a menu when you come into the Mason Jar and then you go up and tell them what you want and they'll bring your food to your table. Friendly atmosphere. Waitresses are very friendly and kind. I would recommend.Kid-friendliness: There were people in the Mason Jar with their children so it's definitely kid friendlyParking: Free parking in front of the Mason Jar

The food was too greasy for my liking but a good selection. The staff were super helpful and nice. The atmosphere was cool with a somewhat eclectic vibe. Plenty of seating. The coolest thing was that they had beer, cider, wine and mixed drinks all on tap where you pour your own and pay at that time. Would like to see that feature in more places!

Waited 45 minutes on a slow Monday for cold food that was gross. Prepaid for it too. No waitresses you walk up to the front to order and seat yourself. Beer wall looks cool. DO NOT COME HERE TO

We have always stopped by the Mason jar for lunch for years. When we stopped in on 10/22/2022, we were surprised it was under new ownership. When we stopped at the hostess station, we were given 2 menu's, told to sit where ever we wanted. When we decided on what we wanted come back to the hostess station and they would take our orders. After looking at the new menu, we decided there was not anything we really wanted on the menu. We left. What I thought was funny was the tip jar at the stand. Hmm.... We seat our self, place the order ourself and probably pick up the order ourself but you want a tip?

Country Casual Dining is how I would classify this gem. When you enter you are greeted and immediately start a tab. This allows you to order a variety of comfort food or to sample a huge array of beers. The cool thing is the beer is sold measures from the tap. So you can try all of them having only an oz of each. The atmosphere is noisy family bar. I was goin to ding them one star for a lack of accessibility friendly restrooms but I only post five star restaurants and this place deserves to be known. There is no table service except delivery so it is very casual. Have fun! Sample a huge array of beers!

This restaurant was recommended to us. We really enjoyed the food we ordered off of the menu. We would return here if we were in the area again.

Well.... I feel really let down by this place. 4.3 stars, over 3k reviews and I would have probably enjoyed McDonald's down the street more. For starters, they didn't seat us for 20 to 25 minutes, even though there were plenty of open tables. We didn't have a large party, just 3 including a kiddo. Once we got sat, we got a kids menu, but no crayons. Our server was pretty cool, and did a decent job. They brought out cornbread after we placed our orders, it came out about the same time as our salads. It was pretty darn dry, so we had to use plenty of butter and honey. The salad was pre-made, which is usually ok, but the lettuce in ours was soggy and not very chilled. The main course... I was actually kind of excited about the main course. I ordered the wild caught salmon, blackened. My wife got the prime rib and my daughter got the soup and salad, with the chicken noodle soup.My salmon was almost overdone. The season that they used to blacken it was concentrated in the middle of the filet and only on one side. I ordered steamed broccoli with it, and it had obviously been steamed for a long time as it almost turned to mush in my mouth. My wife's prime rib was over done, tough and under seasoned, which really ruined the whole experience for her.You could tell both meals had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. The best part of dinner was the chicken noodle soup. My only complaint about that would be to add more noodles. The environment and setting is nice, tables inside and out. It's not overly noisy, and the temperature wasn't too cold or hot inside.I don't know if the cook was new or just having an off day, but I'll probably not be returning to this one.

Food was great and the waitress was friendly. The restaurant was under construction, but I won't discount them for that. They're making some nice improvements.

We had a great waitress and food was so delicious. Great beer and good service. So yummy.

Food was good. Took longer than I expected to receive it. Restaurant wasn’t busy. Drink refills were pulling teeth. Staff took no accountability when asked when food would be ready (family was getting ready to take trolley to top of Pikes Peak). I asked a waitress walking by if she had any idea when our food would be ready. Her response was, “I’m not your waitress.” I expected to hear, “let me check on that for you.”

Was recommended this restaurant from a local and the food was good. The corn bread was delicious. The rest of the food was above average but not great. I would visit again but the service was a little slow. Our appetizer showed up like 3 minutes before our food.
