Our inaugural visit to the Trolley District started on a high note with drinks and food at Streetcar 520. I loved the fresh, summery feel of the Street Legal, and while the dill wasn't for me, I still found the Spa Day intriguing. The chimichurri made the Carnitas Bao Buns pop with delightfully-well balanced flavors and WOW was that Blackened Salmon on hummus good. Can't wait to try more vibrant flavors on our next visit to this fun and welcoming spot!

I should’ve posted this review 2 years ago…we were visiting Colorado in 2022 and came across Boxcar520. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row! To this day, we still talk about how amazing the food was. My husband got the seared tenderloin and said it was the perfect plate. I got the bao buns and loved it. The food made our trip!

The 520 Burger is my favorite burger in town, not to mention the excellent fries and curry sauce. Our drinks were great, too.
Came for vday. Watched several tables that came after us get their food and leave before we got any food. 1 hour later our Bartender/sever pretended he put our food in. He’s a liar. Paid for our drinks and left. Shouldn’t have even done that. They can handle their normal lackluster nights,. You’ve been warned.

Our service was great, but unfortunately the food was borderline inedible. I got the steak, which tasted exactly like the frozen Salisbury Steak from the grocery store, including the boxed mashed potatoes. My husband got the Bass and it was also pretty bad. It's sad to see the food go so downhill.
I very rarely write a review. Streetcar 520 was amazing. It was crowded on a Saturday night so our waitress (Sara) was very busy but she pulled it off wonderfully. The music was a little loud and coupled with the crowd noise it was challenging to have a conversation with my wife but the food and Cocktail list are both 5 Stars in my opinion. Very fun place - totally recommended - we'll be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The background music choice was spot-on, the two wines we chose, the Granache and the Shiraz, were very good. Our entrees were the tenderloin with sea scallops (nightly special,) and the blackened salmon over red pepper hummus. Both were terrific. We travel and dine out often, enjoy cooking at home also and really appreciate when a dining experience comes together. The Streetcar team nailed it, again.
