My husband and I both got the Chef's Special Meal, which comes with a soup and an entree, and ours came with appetizers. We each got the Mongolian beef, egg drop soup, and wonton soup, and we each chose fried rice. The Mongolian beef is the blandest I have ever had. It's marked as "spicy" on the menu, but had no spice at all. It was a bit chewy, and overall had almost no flavor. The bell peppers in the dish were not good, though. The fried rice had 0 veggies, just rice so if you like the veggies in fried rice you'll be disappointed. The soups were a bit bland, but had a little more flavor than the entree. The appetizers they provided (spring roll, chicken wing(?), a cream cheese wonton, and fried shrimp) were all fine. I liked the wonton the best, and the rest was kind of mid. Spring roll was tough.Overall, I spent roughly $40 and wouldn't eat here again.

My two roommates and I decided to try it after getting a menu in our mail. The first thing we noticed with utter delight was the robo server with a cat face. Don't get too excited because there is just one, but it was adorable, and the staff were making sure we were well tended to. Two of us got the chef's dinner while one of us got a one-off order. No one was disappointed. There was so much food that we were having a hard time making room on the table. We had to leave with still yet generously filled boxes. For food and drink, we ran about 19 before taxes and 21 after taxes. The tip they got from each of us was well deserved as they kept us very satisfied. Very affordable and very generous portions. I can't recommend enough to sit down at least once and enjoy a robo cat faced server swinging by to deliver generous portions.

Pad Thai is awful. Lo Mein with too much fish sauce. No rice flat noodles.

Ordered almost $200 for food. It was absolutely disgusting. $200 worth of food in the trash. Rice was mush. Sweet and sour sauce taste like ketchup. Lo mein noodles mushy. Wonton, no words but gross comes to mind. Mongolian beef flavorless. I don't know how this place stays in business. If I could stop pmt on my card I would.

My husband ordered Pad Thai. It was enough for 2 people. He said it was delicious. Not spicy. You could ask for spice. The atmosphere was cozy and the servers friendly. They have a cute delivery robot.

I saw someone gave this place a bad rating just because of a robot without even trying the food so I will counter by not trying the food but supporting robots. I will get the food eventually but I just want to support cute robots who are trying their best.

Okay. This is a weird one that I didn't expect to write for another 10 or 20 years. BUT...I LOVE China Moon. Great food. Fresh food. Decent little store front Restaurant. Never been disappointed. Here is the big problem: THE ROBOT! This little store front has the only meal delivering robot I have ever seen! Which you would think is pretty cool. It's not. This thing is so obnoxiously loud that every time it takes off from its spot you can't even hear yourself think and it kills the entire atmosphere of your meal. It talks and plays music so loud that you have to wait until it passes to finish your statement to whoever you're having dinner with!I will continue to order take out with this restaurant as the food is great. At least that way you only have to tolerate the robot 2 or 3 times rather than a dozen. The restaurant is small. A robot not only doesn't make sense...it kills any desire to dine in at the restaurant at all!
