The place was pretty quiet when we went in and took our own table, friendly waitress. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with fries, the sandwich was pretty good and I'm fairly critical of Cuban sandwiches. The fries were okay but not crispy how I prefer, also they make their ranch in house and it's pretty damn good, it's not as thick as your regular buttermilk ranch, but very flavorful!

We attended the Shrek themed drag show last night. We were a party of 10 and prior to booking we verified they would be able to accommodate our party. We were assured it would be no problem. Upon arrival we spoke to the host and he again assured us it was no problem to push a couple of tables together so we could sit together. Which is what we were promised when we booked. Almost immediately someone came to our table and chastised us for moving things and told us two of our party would have to sit at the bar because they didn’t have enough chairs. We agreed in the spirit of cooperation and we split up our group. Drink orders were taken and not three minutes later the owner comes up and starts lecturing us on moving tables. By this point we’re kind of done and we’re not as agreeable as we usually are but, we moved the tables back and sat in two groups of four instead. We were told that the tables being pushed together would interfere with the performance. Logically, this might make sense if we had put the tables into the aisle but we hadn’t. Our biggest issue was not that we couldn’t sit together. Our biggest issues were that we had confirmed prior to purchasing tickets that our party could be accommodated and we confirmed upon arrival that we could move tables but the cherry on top was being name called and chastised by the owner of establishment even though we were acquiescing to his demands. We had spent a couple hundred dollars on tickets for the show and had traveled from Denver and Pueblo to attend otherwise we would have happily left. I would like to say that our server was very kind and unfortunately got caught in the middle of a contentious situation. I can’t say how the food is here because after the debacle we decided not to go with our original plan of having dinner. I really wanted to like Munchies and walked away very disappointed.

Closing early on a ticketed event that is supposed to last until 11 pm, how unprofessional. hours say open until 11 but closed by 9.*Edit for owner response: If I just hadn’t read the signs correctly that your location was only open until 7 for this event, I would have absolutely removed this review in hindsight, as I was only looking at your posted hours. But your rude response and your responses to others sharing their experiences here shows that you deserve the one star. And considering the way you bully and insult your customers like a child, I think you’re the one who might need to grow up a bit.

I never write reviews but I’ve had the worst experiences of my life at this place. First time I went the food was garbage. I took about 2 bites and asked for a box. It was so bad that the homeless man I gave it too didn’t even want it. About a year later I went with some friends just for a drink and I’m standing at the bar and some employee shoves me with the dirty cart and yells “I will run you over.” No excuse me and plenty of room to go around me. This was a large man and I’m a small girl. Absolutely inexcusable. I hope this place closes and something better goes in. Don’t waste your time or your money. The rest of these reviews have to be fake.Edit for Response: it was 7pm, I was not drunk and like I said, there was plenty of room to go around me and they never asked me to move he just immediately started hitting me with the cart. He’s lucky I can control myself because if I pushed back he would’ve ended at the bottom of the steps. The place was crowded but I’ve worked in the food industry and know to stay out of the way. Glad you know your food sucks tho and couldn’t address that part. Can’t imagine this place will still be open this time next year. Learn to read and treat people with respect. “Good luck out there” tho!!!

Today was my 2nd time coming in to munchies, my first was for my birthday as a work lunch break almost a month ago, it's really sad to see even 1 table empty because this business deserves so much hype and for business to be constant. Their food is delicious I've had the fried pickles, the fries, the elote, the club sandwich, the patty melt, and a shrimp po boy and overall their food is to die for. The portions are huge and you can tell the owners put so much love and care into this establishment. From small details in the decor to the handmade detail in all their dishes. My first time in we talked to one of the owners and you can tell munchies was a dream they made a reality and I hope it's a staple that hangs around for many years to come- I can't get enough!

As a native I could still feel the Michelle’s Vibe in there. The owners kept some of but then they added their own vibe to it which has made it perfect! The owners come out and speak to you and make sure your food was ok. They have a conversation with you and really make you feel welcome. They made sure to wish our guest of honor Happy Birthday as well. Prices are very reasonable. You get a lot of food! We had to bring have our food home because we just couldn’t eat anymore! If you haven’t been here you need to go! Don’t sleep on this! I’m not sure about Gluten free but I did see Vegan friendly items on the menu?

If I could give 0 stars I would! I only have 1 star because Google requires it to leave a review. I visited this place for my birthday while traveling to Colorado. When we came in we were greeted by a young lady. She was very kind and polite to us, which I give her credit for. We were seated. We waited forever for the same young lady to come take our drink orders. We waited a long time. She was taking forever and then was serving other people and bringing them their drinks before ever taking our orders. After waiting at least 25 minutes and almost leaving she finally came and took our drink order. I ordered your gummy bear cocktail drink. She looked around for 5-10 minutes and brought out the cook and bus boy to help her with the drinks. She said she doesn’t know how to make them and doesn’t have the recipe. After more long waiting, she brought the drink and said she isn’t sure if it’s made right. The drink tasted terrible and the gummy worms were hard and not edible. She asked me how the drink was, I told her respectfully I didn’t enjoy it. My wife ordered the tacos and the tacos were so crusty and crunchy that she could barely eat it. The crunchiness from the tacos tore the inside of her mouth up. Combining the very long wait, poor service, and poor quality of food and drink, it left us with a hefty bill to pay and a lot of disappointment in our visit. The waiter didn’t do anything to make us feel whole despite all of the issues. We also witnessed other leaving because of the long wait times. The waiter asked how everything was and we told her not good and requested a refund. She said she hoped it will be better next time but I need to speak to the owner for a refund. I contacted the establishment via Facebook (only way to reach them online) and the owner failed to acknowledge any of my concerns, denied my request refund, and blocked me on Facebook to prevent any additional messages and to continue to avoid accepting responsibility for this terrible service.
