I love shovel ready and I love what this program is about. They recently switched to their summer menu and they have amazing options. This is T.H.A.T sandwich and it’s a delicious veggie option for anybody that doesn’t eat meat. Their fries are also delicious always. I’d highly recommend shovel ready. It’s a great program and they have such tasty food

This place is a great place to eat! I love their pimento grilled cheese and the bread they source locally is wonderful! The fries are my favorite side to add to any dish!

I love this place!Their menu has great variety. The sauces are house made and delicious!I can't get enough of their falafel, french fries, and oven roasted carrots.I have only tried a couple of the sandwiches, but was happy with everything. On top of serving delicious food, they have a great program teaching incoming people to the food industry. Its a bunch of grade A chefs teaching their skills to eager learners and I am so excited to see where it goes! Will definitely be eating there again.

Decided to try Shovel Ready at the Well yesterday. The menu looked less enticing than the other restaurants, but they seemed eager for business and I like trying new things. Im very glad I did. The chef came out and made some recommendations — the falafel wrap and the olive oil cake for dessert, two things I would never normally order. Both turned out to be delicious. The falafel was moist, flavorful and well-seasoned with just a bit of heat. The olive oil cake was topped with a sizable dollop of home-whipped cream and fresh blood orange slices. It was silky-smooth, vibrant and creamy with only the faintest hint of olive oil that transports one to Tuscany with every bite. I felt it important to write this review as they are undoubtedly the most underrated offering currently at the Well. A hidden gem, worth taking a chance on.

I ate at Shovel Ready recently, my experience was unsatisfactory to say the least. I decided to eat one of their open-faced sandwiches as I thought it would be nice to try something different. It's sad to say I will not be giving them business again.

Wonderful food with a great mission. All the food is prepared by the students in the culinary workforce development program through the City Aud. Had the Pimento Grilled Cheese with fries and it was wonderful!

Worthless I’ve come here for years and this last year service is horrible, always have to wait 15-20 minutes for spicy chicken. Sometime we never get items and most times wrong food. Uuugh not wasting my time anymore

Store # 2425 3815 E Pikes Peak Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Simple order # 18, asked for two breast, one mild one spicy, two mashed potatoes n gravy, two biscuits and one coleslaw. $14.13 Got to window and had wife check small packed paper bag and was identified we were missing Cole slaw. I asked girl and she said “it’s in the bag”. I had my wife show contents and with an attitude she practically threw me a slaw. Once we got home it was discovered we were missing the 2nd potato. I called the store asked to speak to manager and she said “ I am the manager”. I explained the order number asked why I was missing this and mentioned the slaw problem from earlier. She then said “I don’t have to put up with your attitude” I said I’m merely asking where my second potato was. She said you didn’t pay for it, I checked the receipt and agreed, so I suggested they should repeat the order or verify at window. She got all upset and commenced to tell me it was my fault. I’m a 5 time war veteran of 12 month tours, 100% VA disabled and college graduate with a bachelors, I think this was poor service. Perhaps a manager with more professionalism, Perhaps? My last visit to that store ever! Sad you’d think folks would be happy to be working again. My two cents, a paying customer who was hungry.
