My dog and I thoroughly enjoy spending time here! A local small business where the owners, management and staff all care about their guests, both 4-legged and bipeds! There's a great beer selection and the food is yummy, too. There's a separate dog friendly food menu as well.

We are from out of state and traveled to Colorado Springs for vacation. We decided to bring our dog since we planned to go hiking the trails. After going on our hike, we decided to take our dog to Pub Dog, and we absolutely loved it.Our dog was running all around the yard and making new friends. We also got a flight to enjoy the time and also make friends with the owners.I would say this was one of our favorite spots on our trip to Colorado.

I have never written a bad review before, but I felt so demeaned by a staff member at any establishment , I think it needs to be known what happened.I went to Pubdog 2 days in a row - the first day, a beautiful Sunday where my dogs and myself had an excellent time. The next day, was a Monday evening. Much quieter and easier to relax due to it not being so busy. When I walked in, a staff member who had remembered me, or my dogs, stated “welcome back guys!” I thanked him and sat down in the indoor portion of the off leash dog park to wait for my girlfriend to join me.I waited for approximately 20 minutes - by this time it was approximately 6:20 PM (the restaurant closed at 7:00 PM this evening) when my girlfriend arrived to join me. At the time we hadn’t realized the restaurant was closing in 40 minutes until the staff member announced that last call was going to be at 6:45 and they closed completely by 7.Although being extremely hard to understand and hear due to sitting in an indoor dog park (echos, people talking, and of coarse dogs barking) we heard a few reminder announcements about cleaning up after dogs and last call for alcohol at the bar.Discussing the situation with my girlfriend, and unknowing the restaurant closed as early as it did, we didn’t know what time the kitchen closed - and me being sober for 6 months we didn’t want to order alcohol and decided we were going to collect our dogs and leave for the evening. As we were gearing up to leave at 6:40 - 6:45 the staff member came up to our table and abruptly stated “you have to buy something to use our facilities” we stated that we didn’t know that, to which he responded “I made two announcements about it!” And walked away. We were a little shocked and thrown off guard but decided we were going to leave for the evening. We collected our dogs and began to walk out while the employee gave horrible, rude, and mean looks to us. My girlfriend, wanting to rectify the situation walked up to the bar to speak with the unruly and irritated staff member. When she did she explained that we weren’t aware of the rule and that’s when the employee began to yell at her stating “we have signs posted everywhere!!” And “ I made two announcements!!” My girlfriend apologized profusely and bought a dog biscuit to again try to de-escalate the employee. The employee then directed his rage at me and yelled across the bar “ARE YOU GONNA BUY SOMETHING!?” I responded with “No, I’m just trying to leave.” And he stated “you used our facilities for an hour and you’re not gonna buy something?” I responded with “I was here for hours yesterday and spent a lot of money here, I’m not going to argue with you about this, I just want to leave.” To which the employee stated “good then don’t come back!!”Astounded - I agreed and left the facility in tears and shock.I can admit when I’m wrong and if purchasing one of their products is a condition of using their facilities, I understand. I naïvely did not know this rule, And even though there were two announcements, and apparently signs posted, the situation when you walk in with your dog and an unknown amount of other dogs Is a little stressful to be Looking at signs. I didn’t hear the announcements about buying Products, and didn’t want Any alcohol due to my sobriety. The facility was getting ready to close, and the amount of unprofessionalism From this employee is something I’ve never seen before. I’ve been going to pub dog for years and I’ve never been treated with such disrespect. I’ve always experienced intense animal Lovers and a lot of fun here.Admitting my mistake and breaking a rule is on me and I take responsibility, but looking at the totality of the circumstances at hand - the employee was unable to control themselves and lacked any type of professionalism in his work place. This employee represented this business very poorly, which is unfortunate due to it being a very special place in the town of Colorado Springs.

Made the drive from Castle Rock to check this out because my dog is worth it ?. Cool place, indoor & outdoor dog park setting with tables for guests, bar & food. Nice non-alcoholic options as well. Great staff. Super clean. A must-visit for anyone into dogs!

We love Pub Dog so much! The staff are incredibleGreat options for drinks and it’s been the perfect place to allow our sweet gremlin learn how to play with other dogs and blow off steam. They handle our 95lb puppy with grace and we are so thankful for Tara, Shane and their amazing leadership team and staff in general. 10/10.

Really disheartened by the service and atmosphere. Wanted to bring the dogs to an indoor space they can play around in. Unfortunately, it was packed with nearly all non-dog owners who were in the off-leash dog space. PUB DOG required pups be leashed in the space as well. I'm sorry, what?! Never again. :(

Warning! Do not go if it is a “trivia” night and you are wanting to let your dog have fun. Dogs had to be on leash in the off leash area and 99% of the people didn’t have a dog! Not very likely to go back after this poor experience. Couldn’t even order anything at

Love taking my dog here. Counter service seems so simple, but they're really bad at it.Elaboration as asked:I stood in line twice to buy a beer today; only one register opened with one front employee working it. Others standing around talking to each other, and not customer focused... it's been this way more than once.I eventually just left w/o buying anything.

I think the key is to come in the warmer months. We stopped by here during the winter time and the indoor area really smelled like pee and wet dog:/ which isn't ideal when you're trying to eat. If the big doors had been open, that would've really helped but it was too cold. The food is pretty good but a little pricey for what it is. Decor and furniture were also a little dinky and looked cheaply but together...

We wanted to check out the one and only restaurant in Colorado Springs which allows you to dine with your pooch. We were not disappointed. There are 3 fenced areas for your dog to run around and socialize off leash (2 outdoor in uncovered patios, 1 indoor). There was a wide variety of menu options from alcohol to food and dishes made specifically for the four legged pals! Water bowls are also provided upon request and are sanitized for safety (with the mysterious dog virus going around). Everything you want though will have to be ordered and picked up from the bar, but they text and announce your order over the intercom when it's ready. We loved it here, and it was worth it to be able to dine with our girl and allow her to let off some steam with other doggos.
