Service was very kind yet it seems that customer service is more of a priority then edible and drinkable products. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I took a sip of my “vanilla latte” only to be met with fosters quality coffee that my 2 year old could’ve made.

Hidden gem... Normally after dining out for breakfast I'm disappointed. It's so easy to make a good one at home. So I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered the TABLE sandwich. Bread is clearly made in house and that blanc sauce is delicious.

Phenomenal customer service! The two, young male servers were so polite and attentive. Whomever made the coffee flights did fantastic!

UPDATE May 25: Spoke with Owner/Manager Ryan. He apologized for the poor experience, promised to do better and asked us to return. We will try R&R again soley based on Ryan's professionalism and willingness to make things right. Looking forward to the next visit.May 20: Save your $. You're better off eating at McDonalds. Let's be honest here... we live in the age of mediocrity and R$R is no different. Expect less than average food, long wait times for coffee, an indecipherable ordering system, non attentive staff, barely clean restrooms and "I give no sh#ts" service. The 2 egg plate was a joke - teeny tiny portions and one bacon strip broken into 4 pieces. Stupid place, shameful value and terrible experience. Pity the good people of Black Forest. Pity for accepting such mediocrity.

The girl at the counter serving coffee is treating customers like garbage, telling people she is too busy to make their coffee meanwhile talking/flirting with other employees. We waited nearly an hour to receive food, there seems to be no manager at all. There is 0 pressure on employees to do their jobs, and the tables were all filthy. Definitely need to make sure there is a manager on shift, especially on a Sunday with the large rushes.

This is one of my favorite places in the Forest for coffee, pastries, and breakfast burritos. The owner Ryan is awesome - he recognizes regulars and welcomes them in with a casual - "OH I have a drink for you!" I love that he is always trying to think of different ways to make a new coffee drink so you'll never get bored. The eggs mainly come from the local farm up the street and are also available for purchase. This place is perfect for outdoor seating, bar seating, or table tops. Come check it out for yourself.

I got the mango smoothie and it was FILLED LITERALLY TO THE BRIM of the cup. They do NOT SKIMP!I also got a bacon and eggs with fruit and potatoes breakfast and it came out looking and tasting so well! This is clearly staff who care about the quality of food they put out. We love R&R and will definitely be back many times!

I had two meals here and two coffees during my short visit and both were amazing. The staff was nice, the owner was incredibly personable and the atmosphere is everything you’d picture about coming up to this part of Colorado. It’s both homie and rustic with a cabin-esk vibe, a lot of hardwood accents everywhere. If you have time to kill, this is the place you can take a breath and relax while sipping on coffee or having a solid meal. Definitely recommend.Side note: this quiet dude in a chair was staring at me the whole time but he seemed friendly enough.

Incredible homemade breakfast food in a very enjoyable rustic atmosphere! My wife and I stopped by for brunch the other day and the food was amazing. We both had omelettes and they came with the perfect amount of food at a very reasonable price as well! You can tell the family that runs the cafe cares about their product too, we overheard a waitress apologizing to another guest that their food would take a bit longer because they were remaking it since it didn't meet the chef's quality standards. We can't wait to go back for breakfast again!

This small town Cafe, has the feel and comfort of a Bright Forest located in Black Forest, CO. There is a cute wood shop and garden shop next door. The food is fabulous and they roast their own coffee. It smells and tastes delicious. The owner is always there and very kind. They have a fire place going on cold days and a reading area next to the fire. It is a really special place. You can eat in, order curbside or pick up on-line. Very easy online portal. Must try!

I wish they were more consistent with their food and coffee. One day, it’ll be the best breakfast and latte I’ve ever had and the next day I go, I have multiple complaints from curdled soup to overly sweet latte drinks (and yes, I order the same drink every time, it’s how it is made).Give it a try, and then give it another try if they don’t impress the first time.

We have been coming here for years, since the old location across the street. Ryan is so passionate about the coffee and the food. The ambience is quaint, the food is fantastic, especially the coffee marinated and glazed bacon!!!! I love bringing visiting friends here, a great experience tucked behind the tree line of Black Forest.

This coffee shop and eatery is phenomenal! I had the southwest steak burrito and it rocked! They treated me with kindness on a really tough day. If you want great coffee and an excellent breakfast this is the spot to go in black forest!

I tried the “Croque Caffein” and it was excellent & as always the coffee was great. Service is laid-back, ambience warm and inviting. We will miss the R&R.
