Nice chilled, laid back, relaxing environment. Prices are good, but flavor of the food wasn't the best. Meats where over cooked and the bbq sauce on the ribs was too harsh. Not bad to catch a drink though.

There is BBQ and then there is B.B.Q. Slingers is some of the finest B.B.Q I've had.I got the #ALLTHEMEATS and every piece was absolutely delicious.

Best bbq joint in the springs. Great bbq atmosphere, food, and the bar is a piece of military history. The manager took some time with my wife and I to chat about the history of the place.

We came all the way from pueblo to try the food. The burnt ends were the best I have eaten by far and the brisket was so good and 1000 times better than any of the chain restaurants. The sides like the baked beans, the mac and cheese, and the fried okra were very good. The cornbread is very fluffy and so good. The pulled pork is tender and juicy and goes great with the Carolina BBQ sauce. I also had some wings and pulled chicken and both were awesome. You can't go wrong with the food here and the service was quick and very personable.

All these comments are lies I tried this yesterday after reading such great comments. One person said the green were salty. Wrong. They were spicy as heck and under cooked. I will say my husband got the bison burger and that was amazing. We got the Brisket sandwich and the brisket was cut so big that when I took a bite I nearly choked.Also got burnt end sandwich and the Burnt ends were so long and large pieces nothing like the pictures. Also the best thing was the pickles that I would have preferred them on the side though.Also I called for a manager a Brian answered the phone saying which manager because there is not one here right now he kept ranting as I kept asking for a manager. He was super rude.

This was the absolute worst BBQ I have ever had. I normally get Bird Dogs BBQ or Famous Daves if I'm ordering BBQ in the springs, but both of those locations no longer carry collard greens. I ordered ribs,smoked turkey, brisket and a couple sides of greens. Ribs we're boiled not smoked. I should have known better when they told me the smoked turkey was out of stock. Brisket was dry and garinshed with pickled vegetables. The juices from the pickle vegetables seeped into the brisket making it inedible. As for the greens I couldn't choke down even a bite. They were over peppered and under cooked. Their collard green recipe seems to entail sauteing the greens rather than boiling. Which is my preferred cooking style for greens (Tupelo Honey in Denver does it best in CO) but it requires care and attention to detail. These greens were clearly and after thought and we're absolutely terrible. I ordered and had it delivered by Grub Hub. Spent over $50 to feed to my German Shepherd and still needed to make dinner for my family. Very disappointing. If I could give negative stars I would... It was that bad.

I really want to like my food.... today I ordered DD, unfortunately the restaurant didn't have the meat I ordered. No biggy I got a call and was offered an alternate meat. The gentlemen that called was very nice so points for that!My order was for burnt ends and the smoker deviled eggs. Both items were "ok" . I can't even taste the meat through all the seasoning and sauce on it. Which could be my fault because it is meant to go on a bun and be a sandwich, I ate it alone. Next we're the eggs... way too mustardy for my liking but the bacon on top and egg itself was good.Again, overall not bad. Not and A+ meal but I will try again someday to see if other menu items are good.
