MEANWHILE, Sam Biglari, who owns >60% shares of the company, effectively pays out millions to his father and brother from steak n shake profits for needless nonsense, like "consulting" while the laborers actually keeping his stores open can't even afford to feed their kids, let alone themselves. This store is not closed due to a labor shortage. it's closed, because the billionaire running it would rather not generate amy income at all than pay his employees enough money to survive.YOU'RE A SCUMB@G BIGLARI! start retracing your steps now, and locate any nearby trees that likely produced oxygen for you to breathe—because you owe every single one of them a fking apology!

We went in today and there is only 1 worker. Manning register and everything. He was such a cheerful person. He got everything out in a timely fashion. Mr Willy should be recognized as the only one willing to work. I hope corporate gives him a bonus. It is needed

Nah, more like an inability to deliver a respectable and decent quality of food; More like an inability to adapt…Leave Steak ‘n Shake to the Midwest because you have ruined it for a lot of us. I’d rather go to my hometown and Missouri and eat at their steak ‘n shake. Stop complaining, and find the real solution…cause I guarantee you would succeed if you paid people fairly, didn’t go cry to Fox News, and maybe ran the restaurant properly.Last time I went there, we walked out after waiting forever for someone to help and it wasn’t even busy. seems to be a long list of problems at this steak n shake. if you read the reviews it is the SAME THING and is never fixed. people are having long wait times and getting terrible service. Have you fixed this ? Have you? Because you cant blame covid you had this issue all the way back to 2019 and before.

This a nice place to eat. We have always enjoyed the food. They have modified hours because they only have a staff of four right now....lots is small and franchised business are hiring but people just don't want to work. We have their hamburgers and fries (live those shoestring fries!) And a chocolate banana shake and strawberry vanilla shake. Everything was on time, hot and delicious. Thanks to the four guys working there busting their humps all day, 7 days a week!

Normally i love steak n shakes, but they aren't even open. They state they are open, 10-2 right now, it's noon, and the doors are locked and the drive thru is closed. So they arent open.

I took my grand kids for a meal about 1 year after they opened. Very poor service. We never went back. I am really surprised they are still in business.
There was ONE EMPLOYEE working, doing it all... wish I had tipped him MORE. He did an amazing job.Food was good as always. The CORPORATION SHOULD BE ASHAMED... Support this place or close it.

Went early in the day on a Sunday, 11am ish.. The wait was probably less than we've ever seen at a Steak n'Shake. Back in the day, like 2 years ago, we would have seen an out the door wait for a table, staff bustling like crazy between tables, etc... Today... what a depressing change. Only /1/ employee, only 2 other people in the restaurant... We waited less than 15 mins from order to receipt. I kinda miss seeing how busy this place once was.. as well as being how much staff was needed.

I used to love it here now there’s literally only one worker here and they have no chicken if it’s just going to be one worker here they might as well close the place down if they don’t have anything or workers it’s sad because I really loved coming here

I have never been to a steak 'n Shake and my wife wanted me to experience it. We walked in and the store smell like vomit to the point where we had to immediately leave and not even gamble with how healthy our food would be.
