If you want a once-in-a-lifetime, but repeatable experience (i know sounds weird) then eat here. There is an airplane inside of the restaurant, never seen one of those. You can even eat inside the airplane and checkout the cockpit! Great place for airplane enthusiasts and small children. We had a wait time of 45 minutes, but we were seated in 25 so wait times vary. There is a strong military and aviator presence on the walls, they even have a fallen warrior table reserved at the front. I had the prime rib sandwich which had tender and delicious meat with incredible potato skin fries. My wife had the ceasar salad and ate every bite, didn't even share with me! Toilets are very clean. Staff are very friendly. No military discount. I will come back for that sandwich again!

Being a pilot, I obviously love the restaurant, but I think they could use some music to liven up the place. It seemed almost too quiet and stale. I was expecting to hear some music that fit the era of the airplane. I’m 31 and still would’ve liked to hear some Johnny Cash, Elvis, Frank Sinatra or rock n roll or something while I eat in the airplane. Also, I expected the restaurant to offer a pilot discount, but no discounts according to the waiter… Not even 10% like Flight Co Brewing does? Lots of awesome stuff to look at inside though. I’ll be back!

Pleasantly surprised with the burger I had. Had a chargeilled taste to it. I've read co.plaints a out the prices. I believe it's completely fair given the fact that your essentially eating in a museum. 2 year was amazed!

We've been going here for over 15 years and we love it. We took our kids when they were young and had to visit again recently now that they're adults, we still really enjoyed it. Staff is always very friendly and the food is good.

Rated 5 stars for the uniqueness. Food was good. Not great, but good. A step above diner quality. I really liked the fries. Different than I've ever had and very good. Atmosphere was great. 10 minute wait to get seated and prompt friendly service. Overall experience was good .

First-time visitors to Colorado Springs, CO. As we watched Things to do in Colorado Springs, The Airplane Restaurant made the list. Once at the hotel we were staying at, we were told we had to try the bison burgers. We decided to kill two birds with one stone. Bison Burgers at the Airplane Restaurant. I am NOT giving any STARS for service because I don't want to mislead whoever reads this. Our server was nice. The atmosphere was stale. The food was horrendous. Our server asked us halfway through our meal how everything was...? My husband and I had just finished commenting how awful the burgers tasted! We could taste the charcoal to the point of tasting burnt. My reply to the server question was, "I don't recall asking our meat to be well done." The server said they normally do it medium well, but I'll let the kitchen know. This is the point when I became annoyed or offended. Hello, that's great for the next customer. Their food will be edible, but what about mine? We're the unfortunate suckers that got awful tasting food without any amends or reparations. We had to accept the food as is! How is this good customer service? It's not like I walked into the restaurant demanding free food. We purposely sought this place out but were completely let down! I will never be back to this restaurant!!

Loved this place. The service was excellent, the place is so cool. The gluten-free bun I had on my burger was stale, however. But definitely take your kids here, Summer or Winter.

This place is awesome! Two sections to sit at. You can sit inside the restaurant or aboard the airplane & fly high. I got a burger it was fresh & delicious. It was a cool experience with a lot of history.
