Very cozy and great customer service. Wine tasting was perfect and we ended up buying 7 bottles of wine. Definitely recommend!

Great service and amazing local wines. Went on a Sunday afternoon with friends and was impressed. I would suggest skipping the charcuterie as it’s pretty basic - summer sausage, pickles, olives, some fruit and cheddar cubes. Seemed like some basics from King Soopers. The wine tasting, though, was fun and helpful. Even grabbed a bottle to go for a dinner later this week. Definitely recommend as a start for a drink before dinner or just for drinks after work even. Great atmosphere.

OMG this is a must-stop for any wine lover. The gentleman that served us was AMAZING! His personality and hospitality really left the biggest impression on my friend and I. The wine is also fantastic (so much so that we ended up leaving with 7 bottles) and paired with bread and oil or the charcuterie board really was the frosting on the cake.

Would give this place more than 5 stars if we could!! Went out with a friend to have a glass of wine for the evening and had the BEST time. Complementary wine tastings & a host who really knows his stuff. Could not recommend this more! Such a cute atmosphere and wonderful coffee as well. Plenty of non-dairy options!

My wife, family, and friends were in Colorado for the first time and stumbled upon this place. The experience was one that we will truly remember. The wine tasting was excellent as there was a nice selection of native notes to choose from. The star of the show was our wine expert, Justin. He was very gracious, witty and informative. He made our vacation excursion 100 times better. We will be telling all our friends about this place.

Great spot to stop by in Old Colorado City. Wines are very unique as the grapes are grown and harvested here in Colorado. There is a plethora of options to choose from, ranging from classics like cabs and syrahs as well as special fruit wines. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, perfect to sip your wine and have great conversation. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. Cheers!

We came in during a winter storm and had the most excellent service. Matt handled our party of 4 with grace while also juggling a busy pop of customers. Great wine. Great snacks. One of my favorite stops in Old Colorado City

Amazing place, great wine. I love the atmosphere here it really feels like you're in a family's home. I had the tortellini soup and it was one of the best soups I've ever had. With a free wine tasting as a bonus I really loved this place and would recommend if you love wine and a relaxing time.

i was walking around looking for a nail shop when a man comes outside and says “free wine tasting” i thought he was lying for a second, but i was on my way to get my nails done so i came back after that and they do have complimentary wine for you to try which is cool. i ended up getting a glass of wine and a small charcuterie board, i wasn’t a big fan of the board because i didn’t like the raw sausage and also he gave me swiss cheese because one of the cheeses i wanted wasn’t cut open. swiss cheese is just the worst cheese to me and how could the guy know that, i wish i could have gotten more fruit tbh but the great thing about their board is the delicious bread, it was a wayyyyy better touch than crackers. that bread was fluffy and delicious. whenever i come back to colorado springs, i’ll be making my way here because i still want to try the kakac (spell check) cheese. i recommend everyone to come in and enjoy a delicious glass of wine!

Called ahead to make sure they offer wine tastings. Normally when I go to winery’s for tastings they serve you it at your table but here you have to go up to the bar & try 5 complimentary tastings (which is really nice that they’re free), then you choose which one you want to purchase, glass or full bottle. I personally just prefer to take my time at my own table doing tastings/chatting with my guests so that’s my only complaint BUT really good tasty Colorado made wines!

My husband and I went there a few years ago - pre COVID - and the wine was OK. What you expect from a local winery. I went back there this past August (2022) and it was some of the BEST wine I've EVER had (and I've had a lot from all over the world - I lived in Germany for 5 years and spent time in Chile). I was both amazed and thrilled. I immediately signed up for their wine club and bought a case. I will be going back for more this week (October 2022) for another case. I HIGHLY recommend this place for exquisite reds. Very pleased. They nailed it!!

We stopped in here one night while in the springs during torrential down pouring rain. The entire street was flooding fast and while no one was in there at the start, the spot soon filled up! We loved doing the wine tasting and trying some of the Colorado creations. But what we loved most was the sassy bar tender with the excellent recommendations, and the local couples that were in there as a part of their regular Friday and Saturday nights. This little spot has several unique wines of their own that you can sample right at the counter. The bar tender is usually the one who is also packing sandwiches or little side dishes for people to purchase which was lovely for us, as the rain was not going to allow us to walk the Main Street. The wine we liked the most was their Port, but we also bought a Cabernet Franc and the white blend. Highly recommend as a great stop in after visiting Colorado Springs! We only took one star off because 2 other couples who came by had "booked tastings on their website" but they don't actually have any record of these bookings. We looked online and you can book a tasting but it is kind of pointless to have there if no one working there is expecting these people?

Awesome customer service! They made us feel like family! The wine was so good we had a hard time deciding which bottles to buy! The food was really good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back when we return to Colorado!!! Thank you for a great experience!!

From the moment we walked into the Sweet Elephant, we were pleasantly greeted and immediately taken care of. We started off with a tasting which was an extensive journey of their many lovely red and whites. I am a dry white fan and loved their great selection but also enjoyed their reds as well. I couldn't find a wine that I didn't like, which is unheard of! Afterwards, we enjoyed a glass of wine and food from their Cafe menu. The staff was incredibly attentive the entire time. I have been to so many wineries (please don't judge. I'm just a fan of great wine and great experiences ), and the Sweet Elephant rates incredibly high on my list. They had an extensive amount of lovely wines and staff to go with it. We flew into Colorado and I bought 4 bottles to take home when we did not have the weight to spare. In my opinion, you will not be disappointed with a trip to this lovely winery and great staff. 5 stars for me. Thanks for a great visit!
