What a great night. Our anniversary and they went all out to make it a "moment of magic" Kaylee was so kind and generous and Riley and wait staff were super helpful. Food was superb but service even better. Thanks for making our night special. Jeff and Connie. 53 years

A lovely, quiet restaurant with excellent service. The salmon was beautifully prepared and delicious. We were there for Monday night Prime Rib night which my husband enjoyed. Nice bar as well.

We love Marigold! The North restaurant has always been a favorite- but it can be very loud. The new south restaurant is smaller and much less noisy. Food is amazing, service awesome. We love Gus & Gus Jr.

This has been a go to restaurant for years & initially very pleased with transition from Walter's to Marigold's so it was difficult to give such a lower review this time. Because of our recommendation, we brought out of town friends for dinner. The menu has changed a lot with less interesting entree items for us & gone are the popular theme nights of prime rib or fried chicken nights. The negative factors for us this time in addition to above were the following: dinner ambience not great with very bright dinner lighting, spotty & inconsistent service, a shrimp scampi that really wasn't a scampi as different than the traditional butter & wine preparation but swimming in tomato broth with overcooked shrimp(& different prep not noted on menu). But the biggest faux pas was serving entrees at different times—more than 10 mins between different entrees served. That made for a very poor dining experience!!!

Now THIS is the change our city needed for fine dining. I’m not sure what everyone else is charging for an experience like this but it is not a rip off, the food is high quality, great service, excellent food selection, entrees appealing to the eyes, you just feel at home. For those that think it isn’t better than the original ownership, you are incorrect. The menu is refined, classy, delicious and…you get treated like family. Love it!

We wondered into Marigold Bistro randomly on a Friday night while visiting Colorado Springs and had an AMAZING experience. My husband and I set at the bar and were entertained by Jimmy and amazing bartender and server (and the 2020 Bartender of the Year!) Would highly recommend!

The food was a bit disappointing; my wife ordered the shrimp & grits but there were only 3 medium sized shrimp and very little grits and I ordered the chicken marsala over potatoes but the potatoes tasted like instant. Other than the potatoes, the food tasted great. Our appitizer was the "trio" and it was bigger than our entrees. Service was VERY good, especially since it was a Saturday night. The wine we selected by the glass and was excellant and well priced. This was the second time we ate here "post Walters" and we will be back, but we will not reorder what we did last night.

My husband and I reserved a table for 7:15 PM, Valentine's Day 2024. We checked in at 7:14 PM and got seated at 7:40 PM. Since it was Valentine's Day, I can't fault them much for the wait in the reservation. The host was kind and attentive and sat us as soon as he was able. Our server was an absolute doll! She was equally attentive but not intrusive and provided a wonderful dining experience, even going to the chef to ask about a seasoning on the crab cakes that my husband was curious about! We started with the fresh baked dinner rolls and salted butter brought to the table and followed with Crab Cakes that were the best we've had in years! I had the 8oz filet mignon with mushroom marsala topper, seasonal mixed veggies, and mashed potatoes. It was perfectly cooked to med-rare and absolutely delicious! I ate everything on my plate! My husband had the 12 oz NY Strip, which was a perfect med-well and equally delicious with the pepper sauce that I can't remember the name for. The chocolate cake was decadent, and the carrot cake was moist and flavorful!

We're new to Colorado Springs, so I took my wife to Marigold Bistro for Valentine's Day dinner, since the reviews good. We had a very mediocre experience. The atmosphere and decor isn't stylish, although it wants to be. Nonetheless, our server was very friendly and generally attentive. The food though, was disappointing. The Caesar Salad was good, as was the Colossal Crab appetizer. Unfortunately my Filet was served very rare when requested medium. I'm amazed when a restaurant can't get the temperature right on a steak. It's very easy and I do it all the time at home using a Therma-Pen. By the time they actually cooked it, my wife was done eating. That was annoying. No real apology or attempt to make up for it, which would have been the classy move. The vegetables and mashed potatoes served the second time were cold and not very seasoned. My wife's Fruit de Mer had a lot of nice looking seafood, but there was barely any pasta underneath and the tomato broth was thin and not very flavorful. I asked twice for a second dinner roll and was told twice it was coming, but they never brought it. Lastly, the Key Lime Pie tasted more like Key Lime Cheese Cake, and I don't like cheese cake. It also wasn't very sweet or tart, so it was disappointing as well. Rather than comp the unfinished pie, they instead gave us a piece of the daily special cheese cake, of course not knowing that I don't like cheese cake. They should have just removed it from the bill since we didn't enjoy or eat it all. I should say, that the Filet with the Marsala sauce tasted good, but the overall experience was underwhelming for $160 without tip for two people with only one glass of wine.

Always a great place to visit. Staff is always extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Gus will always come over to say “hi” and shake hands, no matter how busy it is. Our favorite neighborhood restaurant!

Joel is friendly, personable, and ensures a properly timed and relaxing dining experience! The whole team is very welcoming! The food is outstanding. Prime rib and Fruit de Mer last night, fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Shrimp cocktails were fresh and crisp!
