Fun German delicatessen, bakery, and German food imports. Even the employees can speak German, and are so friendly! I enjoy the people, food, and adventure. I love German mustard, marzipan, and sausage. It's a bit tricky during the holidays. Shop early to avoid the crowds. It's also bit small, and can easily get crowded. I prefer going in the morning, and for Christmas gifts it's good to get your shopping done before December.

I actually haven't been inside, but I have ordered from them a few times, and the treats and rolls are AMAZING. Great variety and selection. We need more places like this in town.

The soft pretzels are divine and the reuben sandwich was delicious! We also got a strawberry rhubarb pastry and peach pastry: both were light and flaky and good, but I probably wouldn't buy them again. This bakery also had some chocolates that were perfect for gifts. However, the bakery sells sandwiches with chips, but not drinks and the only place to eat is outside. This would be great during the summer, but it sucks in the winter. Definitely get a pretzel ?

Awesome little bakery & delicatessen. Great selection of German meats & brats, breads & pastries. Friendly staff. Only downside is the small size. On a Friday morning it was super crowded to the point there was no time to look around and appreciate everything. Totally worth going but would recommend finding a less busy time to visit.Parking: Very limited parking lot. Best option is streetside.

This place is so special. There's something about German delis that is dear to my heart. My German mom would take us to one in ABQ every Christmas Eve to get the amazing food, and Wimberger's lives up to the nostalgia. If you've never had fresh German deli meats and bakery items, you must go here! This is also the only place on the planet I've found so far that makes sauerkraut I actually look forward to eating! The only downside is that at Christmas time, it is so popular that there are actually lines out the door just to get in the building. However, the people who go here are very nice, and it is actually a very cool experience chatting with them and learning why they are also into the German food.
