We eat here every time we stop in Cortez for the night on the way to Breckenridge. Great place, great food, and great service. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich is such a treat -- look forward to it every time! They also have a good selection of beers on top.
This was the 2nd time going here. The first time was in 2020 during the early days of Covid when the seating and menu were limited. Fast forward 3 years and WOW did they come back. The food and service are top tier and very reasonably priced. Service is good. Joanne took really good care of us and was helpful with suggestions. The Anasazi burger and pozole are amazing. Too bad they're dinner only. Thanks again Joanne.

Shishito peppers are delicious. Grilled to perfection and seasoned just right. I ordered the charbroiled bacon cheeseburger and it smelled amazing, was cooked to medium rare and they even had pepper Jack cheese. Did I say anything about spicy ketchup for the crunchy crispy fries?
