We went to Pippo's for breakfast. When we arrived all the tables were full so we sat at the bar. Our food was delicious and the servers checked on us frequently. It seemed most of the diners were locals and they were regulars at the restaurant. We enjoyed the busy, friendly atmosphere!
I don't... hardly ever give 5 star reviews, but in this instance, I will do it. Is the food 5 Diamond ... no it isn't. But less than 1% of America even understands 5 Diamond. Does this place have awesome, personalization and really, really, great diner food... You Bet Ya! This is where the locals go.. .and they show up early at 7am, even on Sunday. Want a good sit down breakfast that won't make you sick or have you waiting close to an hour for it? If you're in Cortez, CO, don't go to Denny's, go to Pipo's Cafe. It truly is good old-fashioned cooking at it's best. Even if it can be a little crowded, it's worth it. Try them if you ever get a chance. Their chicken fried steak is awesome.
