This place has very good smoked brisket that's tender and done the right way - not smothered in sauce. The service was quick and friendly.

Wanted to love this place. We went in and its seat yourself. We sat ourselves and there were two employees at the bar doing nothing and it took 30 minutes to get menus. We got menus and ordered the "pork poopers". They were salty and over cooked. We then ordered a shrimp po boy and brisket chili with a grilled cheese. Then we ordered a "plate" of brisket and sausage dirty rice and hush puppies to go for later.... We got sausage and hush puppies .... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

This is our go to place during the hunting season. The steaks are great, service is good, and price is reasonable.

The brisket is one of my favorites along with fried okra and cajun fries!!!! Their sausage with peppers is also good. The barbecue sauce is amazing!

Service was good and people were friendly. It's a nice atmosphere, especially for watching the game. The food was disappointing. Very underseasoned, and lacking in overall flavor. This went for the prime dip, as well as the Cajun sausage my wife had. I was pretty shocked they didn't put some kind of seasoning on the prime rib they used for the dip. Too bad since the meat itself was really good. The Cajun sausage was bland and lacked spice or spiciness. Which was a shock for a Cajun sausage. For the expense, I won't be going back anytime soon.

Very friendly service, good atmosphere with friendly local regulars. Food was good for the price, I will definitely continue to stop by on my way through.

One star is too many for this visit for lunch on 9/28/23. This place was awful! No employees in the dining area for at least several minutes upon our arrival, so seated ourselves. Waitress did not show up to greet and give menus for at least 6-7 more minutes. (She was never with us long enough to give her name, but for the manager's benefit, she was young, white, and wore glasses. I asked for a minute with the menu, and she disappeared for at least 8-10 minutes. We could see her at the side of the bar surfing on her phone, which happened several more times during our visit. (The bartender was doing that often, too.) My husband finally got her attention waiving. The food was delivered quickly, but mine was terrible...seriously overcooked, dry fish; fried and boiled shrimp cooked until hard; and hushpuppies that actually had charred bits on the outside that tasted burned. Our waitress didn't show back up, despite drinks needing to be refilled and us watching to flag her down to send the food back. I ended up eating what I could tolerate. When she did bring the check, I told her about the food using the specifics above and even showing her the burned bits on the hushpuppies. Her response: "That's funny. Someone just told me that the hushpuppies are the best they've ever had." Wow! My husband and I said in unison, "They weren't from this batch!" I told her the whole mess would have been returned, but we had not seen her since the food was delivered. Her response: "I'm really busy with tables on the patio." (There were two seated out there.) She was lazy, rude, and unapologetic. Admittedly, that's where I lost my cool! I told her we could see her surfing on her phone from where we sat, and if she'd put the danged thing away, she wouldn't be so "busy". I asked for the manager, but she nor the owner were on site. The vast majority of time when I ask for a manager, it is to compliment a server, and I would never do it for a refund or any other benefit except letting them know. Honestly, this place would be a no go for me if I lived in Craig. I will say, though, that the other waitress was working hard.
