First time dining here and it was a Saturday night. We ordered shrimp cocktail (shrimp mushy), Caesar salad (ok), loaded baked potato (undercooked and skimpy toppings) and filets (delicious). Best part were the filets: seasoned and cooked perfectly. Worst was shrimp: the quality was poor, did not taste fresh, and cocktail sauce was too spicy (we were warned - just didn’t care for it). Overall service ok but did have to ask for drinks to be replenished. Glad we tried but can’t say we are willing to give it a second chance.

Great server carefully explained everything. Cocktails were great and the wine delicious. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the scoloped potatoes very good. Expensive? Yes. But wort it? Yes.

We sat at the bar and Bradley and Nick took such good care of us we decided to stay at the bar and have our meal rather than sit in the restaurant. Definitely recommend this place!!

Service was fine but we had to refill our water ourselves through out the evening. Food was mixed. Our Dover Sole had a dry pasty texture when it should have been moist and buttery. The has browns and sautéed spinach were both excellent and cooked perfectly. Our bone-in filet was cooked to our desired temperature but lacked “Prime” flavor. The waiter and manager both apologized for the Dover Sole and it was removed from our bill. Additionally, we were offered a free dessert. We ordered the Souffle but it was only fair.

I usually am very happy with 801 but this time it was kind of disappointing. I ordered a wedge salad requesting the dressing on the side. They brought the salad and it was drenched in dressing. Then I had the meatballs appetizers. They tasted very bland. There was no flavor to them. The French onion soup was very salty. The noise level was very loud but we were sitting in the bar so maybe that's to be expected.

Pricey!!!! Be ready to drop a couple bills. But the service and quality of meats is worth it. We only save this place for really special occasions but they know what they are doing with the cooking of a great steak. The sides are shareable so be aware of that. We love going here for our anniversary because they make a special printout of the menu and decor for it.Parking: I believe they validate parking

My girlfriend and I visited this establishment based on the reviews and referral of friends. I was excited to see the service level and the food quality based on the reviews. We were sat in the middle of the room which normally I’m not a fan of but this was a great people watching vantage. The service started out very slow, we sat for about 10 minutes before our server realized we were his table. Not a big deal as we all have down nights or make mistakes. The server offered a free round of drinks on him and we happily accepted. From there he took our order and we didn’t see him again for 20 minutes. No bread offered, no check back, no service the entire time. Of course I really wanted something to nibble on but we couldn’t flag him down to get his attention. Again, he was busy and there were tables that were keeping him running the whole night. He really just needed help but I’m not sure if he ever asked his leadership. Finally the food came out and it was good, two steaks, two sides and finally we ordered bread from the food runner. As the night went on the manager stopped by at my request to offer dessert due to the lack of service. I was pleased they tried to rectify the poor service, but poor service is what we received the entire night.I’d like to say that in all of this we still had a great evening and appreciated everyone’s acknowledgment of their failure. I would hope our next visit showcases the true essence of fine dining service and 801 Chophouses commitment to it.

We have tried to visit 801 for a long time as we kept hearing great things about the food. We started with Octopus, which was perfectly cooked, the flavors of the salsas and the potatoes were well balanced. Next, my husband had Caesar Salad, and I had Lobster bisque, salad was solid but nothing extraordinary, soup was tasty. To finish our meal my husband ordered the Ribeye and I had the Surf and Turf, both meats were cooked as ordered, the only issue we encounter and the reason why I had to give 4 stars is because both the aju and Madeira sauce were extremely salty to the point of making our dish less enjoyable.Overall a good experience but we might need to change our entree choices next time we visit

I was expecting a little higher class from this restaurant after reading all the reviews it's sad to say what a disappointment. The service started off real good, but once we received our entries, it went downhill. I ordered the lamb, and they forgot to trim the fat. The souffle looked good when they brought it, but it was very undercooked. Lesson learned.

Truly one of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. We spent Friday evening at 801 chophouse and Glen took incredible care of us all night, he was the perfect balance between attentive and there only when we needed it, what a joy. The food was probably B quality in terms of flavor (needed some salt) but with the service this was an A+ evening. I will say the macaroni and cheese that we added truffle to was the BEST mac n cheese I have ever had, that dish stood out above all others. The chef Tyler even came out at one point and gave us a tour of the kitchen showing off their dry aged locker and explaining how things are prepped and stored. Overall this was the best overall dining experience we have ever had!

Attention to detail level of service and quality of food was very good. Staff were in sync throughout meal delivery of food with a cart was efficient. Staff came back to clarify the temperature on my medium rare order. Would return

Excellent service, a little loud, but old school steakhouse ambiance was on point. I had the bone in filet and it was the best steak I've ever eaten. Wife had the crab cake appetizer as her meal and loved it. She is a crab cake snob and said it's in her top 3 all time... Sides were delicious, drinks were strong, experience overall was great. Price was high, but you get what you pay for. Valet parking right outside the front door was comped with a meal. 100% would recommend.
