A dream dining experience. I have yet to be disappointed in this amazing space. The food is something we don't have here in Denver. To match the amazing flavors with amazing hospitality and delicious mezcal, this place has become my favorite spot in Denver and a almost weekly visit

Loved the sourdough tortillas wished we had more than 1 each! and the lamb birria was divine! Sweet potatos were lovely.I liked the presentation a lot ?Nice ambianceGood serviceOnly caveat is the price - I get that Denver has become so expensive and I’m sure it’s to pay fair wages so this is not to be rude but I live in MX and can get better tacos, Flautas, chorizo etc for $1-5 ? so I’d come here again for the main big dishes but skip the tacos and appsAlso- repetitive playlist of same 5 songs- great songs but they were on repeat- maybe just a glitch)

I have never tried something like this, the traditional flavors of Mexican food are so present yet is so authentic, each plate uniquely created by each chef putting their essence into it.Keep telling my friends to come to this place. I was last here at this wonderful cozy restaurant 6 weeks ago. This is my 4th visit. I sat again at the chefs counter. Kasie Curiel is the owner & Johnny Curiel is the chef. I spoke with Kasie regarding recent legal dust-up from her prior employer and she said the matter was resolved. Alma Fonda Fina is not closing!! I arrived just b4 5pm and they were busy. I noticed they were on menu #006. They change the menu quite often, but there are 5 items that carryover. I started with their smooth Oaxacan Old Fashioned cocktail. My first food was the Quesadila Frita. This was a lighter dish made with Chicharron & Crema Agria inside and Queso Freso with a tomatillo sauce. Crunchy & spicy. Next was Enmoladas de Pollo. This is a chicken dish with Mole Green Pipian and a bit of olive oil with Queso Freso & cilantro on top. A beautiful dish. I paired it with their Avocado margarita. It was made with Herradura Reposado tequila, avocado puree and Agave nectar. Spicy and sweet at the same time. I added two soft tacos, Taco Campechano with NY strip and Taco De Suadero made with Colorado slow cooked brisket. I added a glass of mexican red wine, Casa Magoni Tinto. I will be back sooner. Reservations are usually needed thru Tock.
The BEST meal! Incredible service (didn't get servers name but he said he came from hop alley and he was spectacular) The food just got better and better. Gotta be one of the very best restaurants in town.

Excellent experience, top to bottom. Can't say enough good things about this place. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was remarkable. Standouts were the scallop dish (could've eaten an entire bowl of those things with that tomato butter) and the sweet potato, but everything was fantastic.Service from the whole staff was great: efficient and attentive without ever feeling intrusive or rush-y. Everything was just really delightful, from the mood of the staff to the quality of the music playlist. Would go back 1000x.
